Vehicle Detail
This is a 1980 L-82 corvette. It runs great and has been my daily driver/fun car for the last 5 or so years. There is some wear and tear as with any used car but overall, it's very solid and reliable. List of modifications: VB&P O-ring style brake calipers with red powder-coating. Stainless steel flex and hard brake lines. Dewitt's Aluminum Racing Radiator Hooker Competition Headers and Side-pipes (side pipes not currently on car but are included) Edelbrock performer RPM Intake Brand New Double Hump Heads (I put these on in November and they bumped the compression to 10.2:1). Edelbrock 625cfm carb (jetted up) Custom accessories, running water pump, alternator, and an electric fan. No power steering, a/c, or smog pump running. Aluminum Drop base air cleaner. A/C delete Tubular Upper A-arms with aluminum cross-shafts Interior Condition: Dash, steering wheel, and center console is in fantastic shape. Speedometer doesn't work, needs a speedometer cable. Passenger seat has a small tear on the inside bottom. Driver side door panel has a small tear on the top. No carpet in the rear compartment area. Other Notes: Tires are only a year old, in great shape. The front head lights are functional, I removed the vacuum canister and had planned to switch to fixed headlights, so you could easily return them to full functionality. All of the smog equipment (heads, smog pump, air cleaner, etc.) is included. Odometer reads 64,000 miles, it stopped working when the speedometer cable stopped working, so I estimate it to have about 75,000 now. Since it's an L-82, it has forged steel internals, stock 9:1 compression, and a baffled oil pan. If bidding reaches $6,000, I will throw in an extra 327 short-block in running condition (not that this car needs a motor, I'm just cleaning house and you can use it in another project). Buyer is responsible for a $500 deposit within 3 days of winning bid. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Please don't bid or click buy it now if you don't intend to buy. Thanks and good luck.
