Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1992 Subaru SVX LS, pearl white, AWD with under 120,000mil. Unfortunately I need to part with the car after spending a lot of time and money on it and I hope that the buyer will appreciate my investment in details (this car was used as daily and still is being driven every several days’ and the odometer reading can slightly go up during action). The reserve is set at $1,200. Please read below and ask questions about the car condition (good and bad) before placing your bet, your bet will be final and failing to comply with the auction rules will result in a negative feedback! I owned this car for the last 4 and a half years and recently purchased a 4 door sedan (needed access for a child seat), however I will not part with this car if minimum reserve will not be met. I serviced this car was only at local Subaru dealership (in CT). The car is in amazing mechanical interior and exterior condition regardless of the car’s age (19 years old). In addition to the plenty standard power option on this car model (ABS, power door lock, front and rear split Power Windows, Tilt and Telescopic adjustable Steering, presser (speed) sensitive power steering, driver side Air-Bag, automatic seat belts, Climate control with cold A/C, Cruise Control, Fug light, AWD with limited slip rear deferential), I added Heated mirrors ( LSL model option), drilled and slotted (Front and Rear) disc brakes, JDM SVX hood emblem, aftermarket 97 style front grill (Original grill is available), I swap the automatic transmission with a 5 Speed Manual transmission (of a 2002 WRX) which was installed by the same Subaru dealership mentioned above, with the manual transmission swap and the “stage one” engine management chip upgrade you will be able to enjoy all the 230 HP and high tore of the naturally aspirated H6 Boxer engine with 24valve. Please be aware that with the manual transmission the car respond is match stronger and sharper than the automatic model! The sound system was upgraded with rear and front door new speakers and the AM/FM/Caste player was swap to a Pioneer 5050 AM/FM/CD player with integrated Navigation, Blue tooth and USB jack which is installed in the glove compartment (AUX jack is in the back if the player unit). The Tires are fairly new only with 10,000mile. The trunk lead on the car is from a LSL SVX with a rear spoiler (old trunk lead without spoiler is available for sale). Other work on the car while in my possession: The front bumper was replaced after a parking accident (a Pick-up launch is towing hitch in to my front bumper will the car was parking) see car history report, at the same time I had the rear bumper painted to fix spider web size cracks in the paint. Last year I had a body shop repair several small dents and one beginning signs of rust spots on the front fender passenger side following with a fresh coat of paint (to the passenger side door fenders), please be aware that there are several small bents and dings in several spots around the car (nothing major). Unfortunately my wife doesn’t allow me to spend any more money on the car. Please be aware of the following points, some may be needed to be repaired in the near future. When shifting the transition in to the forth (4) gear there is an added bonus of the transmission making a grinding noise, with that said I am still driving the car ones a month (to work and back 240mils round trip) will skipping from third (3) gear to five (5) gear to prevent the unpleasant grinding noise, the repair cost is from $600 for parts and up to around $1500 for a complete used 5 speed manual transmission plus labor. Original cigarette lighter (to the left of the ashtray) doesn’t work (two alternant 12V outlet are under the glove compartment), Cruise control power batten will engage only after sever attempt of activating and the key less remote doesn’t work. For additional $200 will replace the rear trunk SUBARU light with ALCYONE light. On Jan-11-12 at 19:07:47 PST, seller added the following information: This car is an LS model and not LS-L
