CONTRARY TO LISTING INFORMATION, TRUCK HAS AUTOMATIC OVERDRIVE TRANSIMISSION 1989 F-350 4WD dual cab pickup with single back tire, I have had this truck for about 10 years and drive very little, the truck appears to have never been abused and hasn't since I have owned. I believe the mileage to be correct at 130K+ based on condition when I bought. My plans for this truck was to rebuild like new for occasional use pulling a trailor, therefore I have done quite a bit of work on this truck in the last 5K miles below will list in order and some have been in last few months. Truck also has brand new paint and was stripped to bare metal, self etch primer coat + urethane primer coat, and then pained with base coat/clear coat urethane. The good news on paint, good paint job but since I did the paint and not a pro, there is some orange peeling in the finish, see close up pictures of paint. The body has no rust what so ever and sits up good. Inside in fair to good condition, no cracks in dash, carpet not torn but could use a shampoo, front seat not broken down but on driver's side is torn although has a new seat cover installed, head liner and door panels no tears, rear seat good, all gauges work including insalled mechanicial gauges. Truck has working a/c, cruise, power windows, am/fm cassette, and good overdrive trannie, 4 wheel drive works good, motor is strong and uses no oil. What is wrong with truck that I know, truck has 2 fuel tanks although fuel selector valve doesn't work properly (common problem on these trucks) and since I didn't drive that much I bypassed the switch and only use the front tank. An easy fix for about $200. The remote door locks recently quit working, don't know why. Has a small exaust leak on the donut gasket on passenger side. New parts installed in last 5K miles Tie Rod and Drag Link, Front Wheel Bearings, LockOut Hubs, heavy duty brakes including new rotors and drums, heater a/c fan, battery, starter, power steering pump, water pump, timing chain and gears, distributor, and new belts and hoses. On Jan-10-12 at 11:52:47 PST, seller added the following information:Had a couple of questions about vehicle history report and discrepancy with mileage. When I bought truck the title transfer for the odometer was marked as exceeding mechanicial limits. The odometer in truck only registers 100K. Therefore odometer has turned over and as stated I "beleive" the actual mileage is at 130K, the odometer is at 30K Couple of other things I ommitted in description, the truck has a brake controller for trailers and is wired in bed for a 7 prong recepticle. I also have a plate with a gooseneck hitch ball that will bolt to the frame inside the bed. The holes are there just a matter of bolting it on if wanted. Also has heavy duty hitch in the rear. The front shocks have also been replaced recently as was the turn signal cam and wiring harness inside the steering wheel along with a new ignition switch. Have had some questions in regards to the fuel tank selector. Both tanks are still there, if you go to autozone or similiar they will sell you an electric selector switch for $50 and swear it is universal and it will work, it want. This year model used a mechanicial type switch which works based on the pressure from the in tank fuel pumps. Problems as stated with this arrangement and Ford had a recall on this. Anyway the problem was the selector valve malfunctioning that caused cross filling of the tanks and sometimes closing gas flow to engine. Both were issues on this truck and I eventually plugged the rear tank off instead of fixing, runs fine on front tank. to get the part have to get from Ford and is about $200 when I checked a couple years ago, the fix is easy and probably 15 minutes. I didn't need both tanks and needed the $200 more than having both tanks working. One other thing I just realized yesterday, I do not have a key to open the doors, it is different than ignition key (I tried the orginal ignition key that I still have) never had one I guess and didn't realize as I never lock doors on any of my cars. A new door lock can be installed in the door for a few dollars and I will try and get this done before end of auction or make other arrangements as I realize most people lock their cars
