Every time I open the door and get inside, I smell 1940.. I've only had this car a year and a half, but what a piece of history. Suicide doors and butterfly hood. The motor, wiring, and fuel system have been restored, but the rest has been for the most part untouched. Starts faster than my Mercedes! ha Original paint, glass, interior, etc. There were a few missing pieces that I have since acquired. I believe it to be complete for the guy who wants to restore a Windsor. The chrome is original so has pitting and oxidation. There are a few pressure dents in the roof, and surprisingly no rustthrough spots. Previous owner painted the bumpers silver.. ouch! The interior is spectacular to look at , but needs to be completely restored. Riding straps and ornate holding rope still in place. Truly a step back in time. A few windows have cracks. All windows roll/function. Running boards need new decking. Windshield wipers and all exrerior electrical components function with new rewire by previous owner (not OEM). I've since aquired the original manual (reprint), and the original engine diagram. Also includes some memoribilia. Reason for selling: one car too many at home. Hope she goes to someone with the time and resources to take her back to 1940..
