Hey Everyone, So, I've got a bit of a weird situation. I have recently returned from a deployment overseas, and I purchased this Blazer from the embassy at which I worked. I fixed it up and I drove it the entire time I was deployed. Now I have come home to Washington, D.C. and I shipped the truck back with me. It's a great truck and totally awesome if you are into the old 2-door Blazers or Tahoes. It's got a ton of low-end grunt and still gets about 18mpg. Here's the bad news: The host nation (where I was deployed) destroyed the original U.S. title to the truck when it was delivered to the embassy. I have, instead, all the registration paperwork and a copy of the "orange card" which served as title in this particular country. You'll get all of this plus a letter from the embassy indicating that I purchased the Blazer from the embassy and that I am the only owner. Since I live in downtown Washington, D.C. and since my wife's car is the only vehicle we really need, I've decided to let this beastly beauty go to someone who can truly appreciate and use her. The details on the vehicle are below. Maybe you want to pull a horse trailer or maybe somebody out there is already rebuilding a GM 6.2/6.5 L V8 Turbo Diesel and wants this one for parts. I don't know and I don't care. If you buy it, you'll get a bill of sale from me, all the records from the host nation and the letter from the embassy. Automatic Transmission VIN: 1GNEK18S3RJ332783 White with blue vinyl interior Some wear and tear, dents and dings, and slight body damage to the front bumper Class III tow package I've done a substantial amount of work on it (and planned to do more before my tour finished up). Please e-mail for a complete list (I've kept great records of my work) but in a nutshell: -New fuel pump -New pump mounted driver w/ heat sink (Heath Diesel) -New fuel injectors and glow plugs -New thermostat and flushed radiators -New tires and wheels The auction winner will need to come with his/her own plates to put on it and the turn-around time between winning the auction and closing the deal will need to be fairly quick (one or two days) since I don't really want to get ticketed by DC for having an unregistered vehicle parked on the street. :) This truck has been my daily driver.
