Up for auction is my 1982 Toyota Corolla TE72, 2 Door Coupe, w/ Manual 4-Speed Transmission & 3TC Engine This classic Toyota is a very clean example of a TE72 coupe. It is in immaculate condition. This is a true garage find! It had a 4-speed manual transmission, that shifts and drives excellent. The engine runs excellent and this quick little car has plenty of power and accelerates great. This is BY FAR THE BEST RUNNING AND CLEANEST TE72 3TC I HAVE EVER OWNED! The TE72 2-door coupe is highly sought after because of its short wheelbase and light weight. The engine and engine bay look great and is in preserved condition. I have serviced the car and replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires and have had the oil changed every 3 months. This vehicle has a nearly flawless body with a couple ding marks that have some surface rust on them (please refer to pictures). Besides that and a couple scratches the body is perfect. I BELIEVE IT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT (I don't see any signs of a repaint or over-spray) it shines and still looks very good. The trunk has no rust or dents, however, it does not stay up (I just used a small broom, either way, an easy fix :). The wheels are original and the tire are in good shape with plenty of tread. It comes with a Toyota spare tire as well. The odometer reads ONLY 88,300 MILES!! It is a 6-digit odometer, so I believe this to be the TRUE MILEAGE! It has just passed its smog test and is ready for its new owner! (For a walk-around refer to the YouTube Video) All the electrical works and the fan blower works good as well, this car has no a/c though. It does great on gas mileage and is a pleasure to drive. It does great on freeways also. It does not overheat at all and I haven't seen the temperature gauge go higher than 1/8 high. This car comes with rear window defrosters. The interior is ORIGINAL and is in great excellent shape. Their is a small tear on the drivers seat (please see picture/YouTube Video). It has a tape player which works, and speakers that sound good also. And, of course it has a couple cracks on the dashboard.
