I bought this truck as a project, but have too many projects and not enough driveway. It did not run at the time, and was advertised as having a faulty fuel pump. The Rover was missing its ignition coil, and naturally wouldn't run without it. The fuel pump works just fine. This Rover runs now, and drives forward and backward in each gear. The engine currently runs with a high idle, (around 2000 rpm).Newly replaced with OEM parts: spark plugs, wires, ignition coil.The brake calipers, pads, and brake lines look like they were replaced very recently, and the engine oil, transmission oil, and brake fluid also look clean and recent.This rover has rust, and will need body work in the wheel wells and possibly the firewall before it will pass inspection. The tires hold air, but have dry rot and will need to be replaced. Lower tailgate and bed have rust also. I have a sound lower tailgate with surface rust that is available separately from this auction.This truck must be picked up with a trailer, as it will not drive smoothly due to the high idle.
