Vehicle Detail

Anybody want to go racing? Car has been in my garage for last 12 years and was sitting like this for meny years before Info provided from last owner car was a SCCA H production race car where it completed in the mid Atlantic area there are no log books with the car The car has a custom rollcage, the bonnet is all steel, the dash board is a custom made aluminum piece with no gauges, there is a old fiberglass seat in the car The body is very solid engine compartment stock all holes that led through the firewall were covered and riveted not welded, the back end of the car shows battle scars(bumping) from its racing days that were repaired and the two areas of the floor in the footwells were replaced/reinforced the car has no powertrain and is rolling on 4 drum brakes, There are fender flares on the left side of the car the right side flares come with the car but were taken off held on with rivets, there was never any metal cut, suspension is stock 100% this car could be a street car or race car shipping/delivery is responsibility of buyer On Jan-06-12 at 18:24:20 PST, seller added the following information: SOME INFO I JUST RECD ON THIS CAR This Bugeye was once mine when I lived in Southern West Virginia. It was owned by a Pharmacist in Milton WV. He raced it in SCCA in the seventies. I still have the Huffaker Race engine that was in the Bugeye when I bought it. I bought both his race cars after his divorce and sold both and kept most all of the goodies that went along with the cars. The Bugeye is pretty solid and it looks exactly the same as when I owned it. I traded the shell for a bunch of parts that I needed. I just wanted to pass along any history that could help a possible buyer. Before you ask, Pat lost the Log Book, however, the roll cage has a number that you can trace back through the SCCA. Pat paid a small fortune for the roll cage. It was done by a Nascar company in the south.
