1979 Honda CBX Super Sport Motorcycle. Silver. 43,710 miles. VIN CB12013677 Excellent Condition, Iconic Motorcycle. European Sport Kit installed. Essentially perfect condition for a 33 year old motorcycle. I bought the bike in 1996 with 39K miles. Installed a brand new, complete exhaust system from Honda at that time (only 4000 miles ago). The paint on the tank and tail still looks like the day the bike rolled out of the factory except for one very small chip on tail. Brushed in a dot of paint and it is barely perceptible now. The inside of the tank is rust free. The motorcycle starts, runs, shifts and rides very well. Exhibits typical CBX clutch rattle. New Dunlop tires installed in 2001. Still look like new. New maintenance free battery installed last year. New high quality fork seals installed in 2008. Factory exact replica seat cover installed. No rips, tears, or abrasions. Mirrors are not stock CBX. Very attractive engine guard installed. Forward foot peg rubber is worn. Have both factory keys. Motorcycle has been kept under cover in a heated garage as long as I have owned it. Ridden regularly, just never very far ( hence only 4K miles in the last 15 years ). I did ride it 500 miles in 3 days at the 30th CBX rally in 2008. Ran great.
