Vehicle Detail

***I've Relisted this item as the last auction had a lot of interest, but didn't quite hit the reserve price. I've decided to do a No Reserve Auction to spark more interest and Hope for the Best, Good luck! *** :) Up for Bid is my Intense Blue 1967 Dodge Charger Fastback Clean Title in Hand, Blue California Plate Car with Registration paid through September 2012. Equipped with its Original 383 Magnum Big Block and 4 Barrel Carburator (manual choke) with Headers, 3 speed 727 Torqueflight Atutomatic Transmission with B&M Shifter on the floor for better shifting, rare Factory AC (not working), and factory front Disc Brakes. A lot of rare options on this car and is quite unique having the documentation dating back to the purchase of the vehicle. Protecto Factory Warranty Owner Information proving this car has been in Northern California its entire life, prior to me this was a 2 owner vehicle. Most people don’t know that the 1967 Charger was the lowest production number ever built with less than 15,000 units produced. Furthermore, the 383 4 barrel option produced around 3000 cars and even less with factory air, making this one of the few survivors in this kind of condition, with little to no rust from what I can tell. Most of the chrome on this car is very good, but could use some polishing on the rear bumper. Fold down rear seats and another rare option, rear fold out center console, making this a very rare optioned Charger. After purchasing the car we went through all the mechanics, replacing the alternator, rebuilding the power steering pump, new battery, adding an engine dress up kit, Grant Sport style steering wheel, all new Flowmaster chamber 2 exhaust, new period correct tires with less than 100 miles on them and the chrome cragar wheels with period correct magnum caps. Next, we redid the entire electrical on the car, including the headlight motors, the Illumination gauge lighting and even added top of the line auto meter gauges to the center console. though it looks as if it’s the original carpeting and at some point the seats were redone and look spectacular. The Needs – Plain and simple, not much. If you want to get nit-picky there are a few minor details that can be done. As seen in the youtube link, there is a short scratch on the driver side, which could be spot painted (airbrushed), but never bugged me. Under the trunk, the original green color shows as well as under the hood, which could be sprayed the period correct intense blue or black. There is a small spot on the passenger seat that may or may not be rubbed out. It could use under carriage spray, which I have a contact who can do this for a few hundred bucks locally in the SF area. A few flaws in a car like this adds character to the car, but wouldn’t take much to bring it to the next level. See below, what the Nada value brings as a near perfect car, pushing $50K with these powertrain options. It’s a very strong driver would say it’s a strong 2 car, 1 being a museum piece show car. I’ve tried to be as descriptive as possible including any blemishes to the vehicle. Remember, this is a 45 year old car and there is no warranty. Reason for sale is simply I have too many vehicles and am parting with a few in my collection, this unfortunately being one of them. The pictures and description do not do this car justice. It’s an absolute gem, drives amazing on the street or on the Highway. Feel free to contact me to view locally or if you have any questions. Please be serious if you plan to Bid, and only Bidy if you have the money, please don't waste your time, or my time. These cars are hard to come by, especially in this kind of condition and over time will surely continue to appreciate in value. I have listed a very low reserve considering the condition. Thank you for your interest and Good luck Bidding!
