There is no other New Beetle Convertible of any year, new or used offering as many options, additions and upgrades for the price. I am a Beetle/ Performance enthusiast with one to many cars and this is the one that has to go. This Garaged/ Smoke Free 2003 1.8T manual shift,(Mark IV engine) convertible Beetle has 130,000 miles. This car has been maintained by Dubwerx's of Cincinnati and the following modifications have been performed by Dubwerxs or myself. The last pic is a look in 19inch wheels !! New Timing Belt: Installed at 100,000 miles New water pump with upgraded metal components: 100,000 miles New battery: 120,000 milesNew Performance Intercooler: 100,000 miles Turbo upgraded from K03 to K04 100,000 miles APR Stage 2 Chip, installed during K04 upgrade, horsepower gains from 180 to 225-230. Milltek 2.0 Turbo Back muffler system. Short Shift Kit Rear stability bar Additional upgrades: Audi replacement front brakes: Enlarged discs and pads for the additional stopping power needed to match the power upgrades Euro light switch Two gauge pod center dash Clear front signal indicators Custom Wheels Alpine stereo system: Includes satellite Radio, Direct Ipod input controllable from the radio and custom sub. Additional sound proofing sheeting Euro Blue Front and Rear Badge Tinted Windows (Legal tint for the State of Ohio) There are additional upgrades but they are too numerous to mention all of them. There are three keys that are a part of this sell two key/keyless entry keys and one master key. Additional items that will or can be included with the sell of the car: Original muffler will be included with the sell.Custom installed GPS and Radar detector (Can be negotiated with the sell or I can remove) Volkswagen New Beetle Service Manual 1998-2008 including convertibles. (Included with sell)Eibach Lowering Spring kit ( Included with sell.) Current needs: Check engine light is on. I had the system analyzed the code indicated an 02 sensor needs to be replaced 190.00 installed. Air bag light is on: While removing the seats to install additional sound proofing material the air bag electric clip was broken. The dealer confirmed the clip would not interfere with the proper function of the air bag. The cost to replace was HIGH and I choose to allow to light to stay on. After I reinstalled the seat and found out it would work without it I did not persue further. The sensor and clip are not that expensive. The labor to remove the seat is what I considered to be High.
