Up for auction is a 1994 Mazda RX7 twin turbo. Color Montego Blue with black cloth. Power windows, mirrors, automatic transmission with the HOLD feature. Car is missing headlight lids/covers and there are dents in the hood, nose, doors, roof, corner panels. Paint is in bad shape from years of Florida sun. The car run greats but it needs TLC to paint and body. One of the best local body shops said it would cost between 2k and $2500.00 to make it look like showroom. This is a 3 owner car. Car has appx. 81k miles on the frame and the motor was rebuilt with new block 10 years ago and only has 40k on it.Upgraded air cooler and radiator no other mods to engine. I have paperwork from engine rebuild. Took it over to RMP auto tuners in Gulf Breeze and had it checked out he said motor is in great shape the only code that popped up was a speed sensor. Under body looks great and the steering is tight. There is an appx. 3in crack on the dash above the instrument cluster but other than that the inside looks really good. The odometer comes and goes that has something to do with the speed sensor not sure if its bad or loose connection. When it goes out check engine light comes on and the hold light flashes but as soon as the odometer pops back on the lights go away. Clean title in hand. I purchased the car from the 2nd owner a retired pilot in his 60s he had the car for appx. 10 years and did not drive it much. Plan was to restore and upgrade but wife has been deployed to Afghanistan so I have no time for it and need the cash. The bidding will start at 6k with no reserve. Please don't bid you you do not intend to purchase and pickup the car. The car is missing one of the OEM rims. I have only had the car a few months.
