Up for auction is a great looking, rare and unique pearl white Cadillac Allante. Cadillac has a real reputation for building some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road and this one is no exception. I can tell that the previous owner took care of this Cadillac and it shows. Here is a little bit of history or information regarding this model. Borrowed from Wikipedia: " Development and production:" Originally designed under the code name "Callisto", the Allanté was intended to restore Cadillac to its position as a premium luxury automobile builder. Allanté's direct competitor was the very successful Mercedes-Benz SL, and to a smaller degree, the Jaguar XJS. Allanté's 4.1 liter V8 was shared with other Cadillacs across the line, but when specified to the Allanté, several changes were made. Unlike Buick's Reatta, which shared powertrain and underpinnings from the Riviera and the Oldsmobile Toronado, Cadillac borrowed very little from the Eldorado and Seville for Allanté. The body of the Allanté was designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame). The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles (5,300 km) from Italy in specially equipped Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Cadillac's Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly plant. The bodies were then mated to the chassis. This led to a few interesting nicknames, such as "The Flying Italian Cadillac" and "The world's longest assembly line." Please take a look at this beautiful Alante. This Cadillac has lower milage and taken care of. This car was definitely garaged since it left the assembly plant. The Vehicle drives like a tank. The interior is in great shape. Leather do not have any rips. Recaro buckets seats. It is pleasant to drive such a unique and rare vehicle.Since this vehicle was garaged, there is no rust on the car. The paint is good and I personally put a wax on the exterior just to make it perfect. The wheels are in very nice shape, I could not find deformation in them. Very sharp looking.This Allante has non north-star engine so many problems with the engine are eliminated. The engine had recent tune up as the newer silicone insulated wires are present. The car also had recent oil change and it is ready to go. I also tried to show all misperfections on the photos so there are no surprises. The car functions/drives great. Exterior is in nice shape. AC/Heat works great. Suspension feels good. The aluminum wheels are in great shape. The car has newer tires with lots of thread left in them. Hard top can be removed without problems and put back normally. Do not have any leaks. Latches work fine. Condition of the soft top is ok. The front latch mechanism functions properly. Fuel tank door opens with the button properly. Trunk does open and closes without problems. Trunk mechanism does the suction (closing/opening) function without problems. The radio does turn on but the sound is not present for some reason. The power antenna do not go down and stays up. Driver's side power window functions properly. Passenger window functions properly. Electric power locks function properly. Good luck bidding on this beautiful Cadillac Allante. This is one of my favorite cars and it is my first Allante. Since it is not everyday car, I tried to make some research before making a proper description for this vehicle. I will also take reasonable offer. So there is a chance that this Cady will be gone before the end of the auction. This car is becoming a collector's car and very hard to find, especially in nice shape as this one. Welcome to my auction. Up for auction is a great looking, rare and unique pearl white Cadillac Allante. Cadillac has a real reputation for building some of the safest and most reliable vehicles on the road and this one is no exception. I can tell that the previous owner took care of this Cadillac and it shows.
Here is a little bit of history or information regarding this model. Borrowed from Wikipedia: " Development and production:"
Originally designed under the code name "Callisto", the Allanté was intended to restore Cadillac to its position as a premium luxury automobile builder. Allanté's direct competitor was the very successful Mercedes-Benz SL, and to a smaller degree, the Jaguar XJS. Allanté's 4.1 liter V8 was shared with other Cadillacs across the line, but when specified to the Allanté, several changes were made. Unlike Buick's Reatta, which shared powertrain and underpinnings from the Riviera and the Oldsmobile Toronado, Cadillac borrowed very little from the Eldorado and Seville for Allanté.
The body of the Allanté was designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina (of Ferrari fame). The completed bodies were shipped 3,300 miles (5,300 km) from Italy in specially equipped Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Cadillac's Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly plant. The bodies were then mated to the chassis. This led to a few interesting nicknames, such as "The Flying Italian Cadillac" and "The world's longest assembly line."
Please take a look at this beautiful Alante. This Cadillac has lower milage and taken care of. This car was definitely garaged since it left the assembly plant. The Vehicle drives like a tank. The interior is in great shape. Leather do not have any rips. Recaro buckets seats. It is pleasant to drive such a unique and rare vehicle.
Since this vehicle was garaged, there is no rust on the car. The paint is good and I personally put a wax on the exterior just to make it perfect. The wheels are in very nice shape, I could not find deformation in them. Very sharp looking.
This Allante has non north-star engine so many problems with the engine are eliminated. The engine had recent tune up as the newer silicone insulated wires are present. The car also had recent oil change and it is ready to go. I also tried to show all misperfections on the photos so there are no surprises. The car functions/drives great. Exterior is in nice shape. AC/Heat works great. Suspension feels good. The aluminum wheels are in great shape. The car has newer tires with lots of thread left in them. Hard top can be removed without problems and put back normally. Do not have any leaks. Latches work fine. Condition of the soft top is ok. The front latch mechanism functions properly. Fuel tank door opens with the button properly. Trunk does open and closes without problems. Trunk mechanism does the suction (closing/opening) function without problems. The radio does turn on but the sound is not present for some reason. The power antenna do not go down and stays up. Driver's side power window functions properly. Passenger window functions properly. Electric power locks function properly.
Good luck bidding on this beautiful Cadillac Allante. This is one of my favorite cars and it is my first Allante. Since it is not everyday car, I tried to make some research before making a proper description for this vehicle. I will also take reasonable offer. So there is a chance that this Cady will be gone before the end of the auction. This car is becoming a collector's car and very hard to find, especially in nice shape as this one. Also, autocheck shows very nice report which is a big plus.
