Up for auction is a beautiful 2002 BMW M3 Convertible. Car is fully loaded with every option offered by BMW at the time, including BMW's state of the art SMG paddle shift transmission. Car has been meticulously cared for and frequently serviced by our BMW dealer. Wheels have been upgraded to OEM 19" BMW wheels from a 2006 M3 ZCP Competition Package. They are factory wheels designed by BBS for BMW, originally for the legendary M3 CSL, which was only sold in Europe. Paid almost $4,000 for the wheels. Also have added BMW iPod integration. It is a factory BMW accessory that allows you to control your iPod through the stereo and steering wheel controls. You can even make playlists that correspond to CD buttons 1-6. Cord is located in the glovebox and it charges your iPhone/iPod at the same time. Car came with the upgraded Harmon Kardon sound system, but it has been further upgraded to the BSW stage one kit. I have replaced every single speaker in the car, except the factory subwoofer. The new speakers still maintain the factory grills/covers and radio or head unit. Everything looks the same as stock, but music is much more clear and crisp sounding than before. If you search around , you will find that BSW is highly recommended and makes great quality systems, specifically for BMWs. Unfortunately, our personal fleet has once again grown too large and we no longer have any room or need for the M3. Actually, we haven't really had room for it for quite some time, but it has just been so difficult to part ways with such an amazing vehicle. The car has been babied by an owner who is an avid car enthusiast. As I said earlier, the car has been serviced regularly with our local BMW dealer. We have spared no expense to keep the car in tip top shape. Oil has been changed every 5,000 miles (afraid of waiting 14k like BMW says). Car is absolutely perfect mechanically. Have never had any major problems and BMW has truly upheld their reputation for building the highest quality vehicles. The body and paintwork of this car is still absolutely stunning. It looks as good as the day it was driven off the showroom floor. Car has been professionally detailed on a regular basis with a horse-hair wash brush and high-gloss carnuba based wax. Our pictures cannot do it justice as the car can only be truly appreciated in person. The red on black color scheme is amazing as well. The leather has been highly card for as well, as it shows very little wear for an 80k mile car. The few minuscule flaws are pictured below. All of the dents are hardly noticeable and would only be seen by a trained eye. However, I want to point them out so there are no surprises when the car is picked up by the winning bidder. There is a small dent along the lower edge of the trunk, just underneath the license plate which any paint-less dent removal shop can easily fix for hardly any money. Another dent (hardly noticeable) is above the driver side rear wheel well. Again, this can also be easily pushed out by any paint-less dent removal guy, without the need for any bodywork or repainting. There is a small ding on the passenger door, left of the door handle and a very small scuff on the lower portion of the rear bumper that disappears with a single coat of black wax. Once you see the car in person, none of these flaws will even matter and you will see how minuscule they really are. If you happen to be a perfectionist like myself, they can all be quickly and cheaply repaired for no more than a few hundred dollars. It is the reason why the M3 has become such a legendary sports car over the past few decades, the M3's performance. The car rides beautifully and handles like it is on rails. It was an absolutely perfect design by BMW, with a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. The engine pumps out 333 horsepower and can take the car from 0-60 in under 5 seconds. This is all achieved by a 3.2L inline six cylinder that doesn't redline until 7,900 RPM! That is absolutely incredible engineering. Again, you will only be able to understand how great this car really is once you drive it for yourself!!!! I own, have previously owned, and have driven many comparable cars and nothing has impressed me as much as the M3. This is the reason it has stayed with me for so long, this car is absolutely the perfect machine. It is the most fun you will ever have on 4 wheels!!!!
