Datsun 1600 Roadster with nice body. This car would probably be considered more of a parts car. It has been sitting under a lean to shed for over 20 years. It has an engine and all the running gear in it. I can't open the hood to get any pictures because the latch is frozen in place. If anyone has a tip for opening the hood let me know and I'll try it and get some pictures of the engine and under hood area. All the trim is rusted or pitted but the body seems to be good. I managed to clean out the passenger side so you could see the floor. I have no reason to believe the drivers size is in better condition.There is rust in the sill just behind the driver's side door. There is also a rust spot in the lower rear corner of the deck lid. I'm told the owner got tired of it and drove under the shed, turned it off and that's where it stayed. Doors open and close as they should and windows roll up and down OK. Everything that is supposed to roll is frozen up. I'm going to try heating the drums and discs to see if can get anything to turn but I'm not optimistic. I slid it on the trailer on some old wheels and tires and many strokes of a come a long. Please ask as many questions as needed and I'll do my best to answer. What you see is what you get. If I can't make it roll then I would suggest bringing some bare wheels to make sliding it along easier. Ron An EBayer emailed me and said it was actually a 66 or 67, so I changed the listing. Also, this is a Alabama car and doesn't have a title since they were not required then. Bill of Sale only. I was able to get my torch in against the latch pin and cut it in two. The hood is now open and I've added pictures of the motor and data plate. I hooked up my jumper box and a battery. The solenoid pulled in but the starter didn't even try, so I don't know if the solenoid is bad, the starter is bad or what. Either way, I'm not able to turn the engine over.
