Here is an 1985 Jeep CJ7 Laredo with 4.2 liter 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, Dana 300 transfer case, power steering, power brakes, tilt, tach, clock, factory air conditioning, leather wheel, leather grab bar and factory padded center console lid. The Jeep runs great and all drive train components except engine have been professionally rebuilt in the last 200 miles. The following is a list of new or rebuilt components added in the last 200 hundred miles. New front axle with 4.10:1 G2 gears, new carrier, Powertrax locker, new spindles, rotors, calipers, brake pads, stainless braided hoses, warn premium locking hubs, greaseable shackles, 3" lift springs, shocks, poly bushings. New rear axle with 4.10:1 G2 gears, Detroit locker, one piece G2 axles, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, 3" springs, greaseable shackles, shocks, stainless braided hoses. THe transmission was completely rebuilt and a new torque converter installed and the transfer case had new seals added and all components have synthetic fluids. THe engine had some work done prior to my purchasing it but i do not know what all was done. It has the 2 barrel Holley replacement carb and an aftermarket electronic ignition system installed. The Bestop Supertop is brand new with the tinted window option and soft upper doors. It has wrangler hard half doors and mirrors, wrangler roll bar with the windshield braces and new bestop roll bar covers and seatbelts. There is 5 new Mickey Thompson MTZ tires 12.50 x 33 x 15's on 5 new American Eagle alloy wheels. It has a frame mounted 2" receiver hitch with a swing out oversized spare tire mount and 4 pin trailer wire plug. The paint color is black and it has a good appearance but the color was changed from a factory brown metallic color (see dash photos) however it was not a very good job and the dash is still the factory color. There is one small rust bubble in each side under the Jeep logo both about the size of a half dollar. The interior is in good shape the only issues are one seam in driver seat bottom is coming loose, speedometer does not work (needle has fell off), dash needs paint color changed and the horn button is missing ( available new on ebay for $15.00). I started rebuilding the Jeep to keep as a pretty day convertible to drive the family to the local DQ for ice creams or car shows but we now have 3 kids! I need a bigger toy!
