Military move forces this sale. My loss is your gain. 1963 MGB. This is the much sought after metal dash board MGB. It is not perfect. There is rust.Yes you can drive it onto a transport trailer but the brakes do require minor mechanical attention. Lets discuss the negatives up front. There is rust in the side assemblies.Both sides are affected. Replacement parts are currently available from a popular MGB parts supply company. Both rocker panels look good from the outside because the inner rust has beenhave covered up with bondo. There you have it. If you want a perfect car this is not the one for you. However if you desire a car that has enormous potential at an affordable price than this may be just what you are looking for. Lets discuss the positives now. Mechanically sound. 3 main bearing engine with 60 psi oil pressure at idle. Metal dash board that is superb. All gauges except fuel gauge work perfectly. All lights work. Heater blower motor works. Windshield wipers work. Wiring harness is original.Comes with four original hubcaps. Comes with brand new never installed convertible top. Carpet is brand new. Aluminum hood.Original steering wheel with age cracks but has been partially restored with expoxy. All interior panels have been removed to install the new carpet and are stored in the trunk waiting to be re-installed. I have driven this great MGB around the block. It will need tires and the brakes need minor attention. It will need a paint job. DO NOT THINK THAT THIS CAR IS READY FOR A HIGH DOLLAR AUCTION!! So. There you have it. Not perfect but a perfect opportunity to get in a classic at a reasonable price. Great for the entry level MGB enthusiast or the seasoned veteran.
