Vehicle Detail

This old girl is a little rough; the paint has worn off & that is red primer showing through....she does have some rust. Runs & is currentlty licensed. Clear Title. Original owner's manual. I wouldn't mind if it sets here for a couple months as long as it's paid for. The 292 ci Engine has good compression; Dry 110, 110,120,120,125, 125,110. Wet 125,135,125,125,135,110. Carburator has been rebuilt. New Battery, Distributor Cap, Wires, Points. Radiator, transmission, rear end are good. Transmission smooth. Brakes work. On Dec-18-11 at 05:50:52 PST, seller added the following information: To answer some questions: (Please send your questions & I will post them here if it is good information). I ADDED SOME PICTURES OF BOOKS & OPTIONS STICKER. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT A CLOSE-UP OF ANYTHING. & I WILL ADD IT. I forgot to mention that the gas tank is perfect with no rust. Gas gauge does not work because there is no sending unit in tank. Also, I was told that this is the original engine & the original options sticker supports that. I would guess that has been rebuilt at some time as it doesn't smoke & has decent compression. Yes, as you can see in the pictures, it does have body filler in various places. Yes, the tail gate is pretty straight, it does have a few dings. I should have moved that block in the truck bed for the picture...there is a huge hole there in the wood. No, I wouldn't trust the tires very far.On Dec-18-11 at 07:58:46 PST, seller added the following information: Tony stated: The motor is not a 292 six cylinder. If it was, the side covers on the passenger side, would be approximately 6" tall, instead of approximately 4" tall. Also, on the 292 engines, he passenger side frame-to-engine perch is forward of the fuel pump and off-set from the driver side frame-to-cab perch. Good luck with the auction. Starlite's answer: Thanks Tony! I was going by the options sticker. You sound like you know your stuff here. Maybe the engine was replaced, I don't know. Patrick......... To all bidders: I will understand if you cancel any bids that were made before this post about engine size. On Dec-18-11 at 13:19:50 PST, seller added the following information: Pictures added under cab; front & rear cab mounts. (note small holes near front cab mounts...floor is in excellent shape otherwise). Transmission is 4 on the floor. On Dec-21-11 at 04:54:40 PST, seller added the following information: The driver's window does not roll down.On Dec-25-11 at 08:41:49 PST, seller added the following information: Question: Can I pick it up in June when my family & I are in the Black Hills to see Mt. Rushmore & Crazey Horse? Answer: Yes...I would have no problem storing it as long as it is paid in full.On Dec-25-11 at 08:44:33 PST, seller added the following information: Question: I will have a trailer there in August for the Sturgis Motorcyle Rally, can you store it till then? Answer: Yes, no problem
