Vehicle Detail
Great driving 2007 Toyota Camry. This car has lived up to it's reputation as a dependable and economical car for my family. We have outgrown it and moved up in size to a Toyota Avalon. This Camry is now ready to provide many more years and miles to it's third owner. I purchased the car from our local Toyota dealer (Steven Toyota Harrisonburg, VA) in February or 2009 with 95,154 miles and just two years old. It was a traded in by a local salesperson that put the majority of the miles on this car. We have put less than 30K in our two and a half years of ownership. The condition: The vehicle starts and runs very smooth and is as peppy as a new vehicle. The LE version combines the most efficient engine and transmission to provide over 30 mpg highway. The vehicle features the efficient 2.4 DOHC MPFI 16-valve 4-cylinder engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. Both work well together to give the feeling of a 6 cylinder vehicle but the economy of a Japanese 4 cylinder. There are no engine faults or codes and no warning lights lit on the dashboard. The LE is comfortable and quiet with extra sound insulation over the base or even the sport model. It is equipped will all the power equipment and like most Toyotas, everything still works the way it did when new. There is cruse control, power windows, power driver's seat, power locks and mirrors. There is a single cd player that is MP3 compatable and has an auxiliary jack for an ipod or xm input. There are radio controls on the steering wheel. I have all the original manuals and the 2 keys with remote controls built right in. The vehicle has been well maintained which will be obvious when you drive this car. Not a single item is broken and everything functions exactly the way it did when it left the factory in Kentucky. The trunk is spacious and the lid lifts high to allow for easy loading. The rear seats are 60/40 split fold down to make hauling skies or other long items possible. There is an unused spare tire in the trunk that is either full size or almost a full size tire. It allows you to drive home instead or limping to the nearest station with the tiny temporary size. Fortunatly I never needed it but it is nice to know I could continue to drive to my destination on the spare. The four other tires are in good shape and won't need to be changed for may more miles. WHAT'S NOT PERFECT ? There are a few small cosmetic flaws or damages with this car. None of them stand out or in any way affect the function of the vehicle. I am disclosing EVERYTHING I see and know about. I would classify all of these imperfections as minor but the buyer should decide based on inspection of the photos before bidding. If you can live with a few small imperfections, you will be very pleased to own this car and save a ton of money over a new one. 1: Normal small paint chips in the front of the vehicle, no large ones. (see photo) 2: The driver's seat has a few very small burns in the center of the seat. I am guessing the former owner may have been a smoker but these are the only signs of burns in the entire car. There is no smell of smoke and no one has smoked in the car during the 2.5 years I have owned it. There is a photo of a seat with 2 keys showing the scale of these tiny burns. They are more discollorations than burns and have not burned through the fabric. 3: There is a minor impression of a licence plate bracket and screws in the center of the rear bumper cover. I looks like someone pulled too far ahead in a parking lot and left the imprint. The plastic is not cut but the dents have been there at least a year so they are permenant. (see photo) 4: There is a small dent and scrape at the bottom near the center of the driver's door. It is about 3 inches long and is right at the bottom where the door meets the body. (see photo) If you have further quetions feel free to call 540-908-8757. The car is being displayed in front of my office at 919 N. Main Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22802. Licensed and insured drivers are welcome to test drive the vehicle and anyone else is welcome to inspect it or ride in it. This is a no reserve absolute auction. I am not interested in wasting anyone's time by not disclosing what I want for the car. The bidding starts at $7500, high bid wins.
