1969 Mustang Mach 1 - 351 Cleveland - Original CA black plates - One Owner** · 1969 Mustang Mach 1, VIN - 9R02M181754 · 351 Cleveland with 4 barrel carburetor · Original CA black and yellow license plates · License plate frame from “Downtown San Diego – Center City Ford” · One Owner** Prior to my purchase, this was a one owner car. The title I was given appeared to be the first and only one issued prior to my purchase. · 76,707 miles, appears to be actual mileage. · Appears to have been originally sold in San Diego in May 1969 and seems to have always been in San Diego. It seems it was last registered about 1995 (not sure) and sat outside until a couple years ago when it was moved into a garage. It then sat in the garage until I purchased it earlier this year. · Clear CA title and currently registered in CA · Rust on the roof is due to the paint wearing away, probably from sitting out in the elements for so long. This rust does not appear to go through the metal in any areas on the roof. · Rust at lower body panels, rear taillight panel, and doors is through the metal. There is also rust on the doors around the door hinges. The trunk bottom panel, engine compartment, floor panels, and underside of car do not appear to have extensive rust considering the age of the car. · There appears to be body repair in a couple areas possibly from previous dents or damage. There are a couple dents in the fenders. · The bumpers are not perfectly straight, but are in decent condition consider the age of the car. Most of the chrome seems to be decent, but it is missing one of the MUSTANG letters on the trunk. · The car runs, but has not been tuned. I put in a new battery, changed the oil (oversized replacement drain plug), and poured gas in the carburetor to get it started. Other items have since been replaced. · New fuel pump, new tires, new stainless exhaust tips. · Replaced power steering hoses with aftermarket hoses that do not fit well, but hold the fluid. The power steering works, but the steering control valve has play. · Brakes seem fine. · Other than wipe the car down, and vacuum the interior and trunk, not much else has been done to the car. This is a car appears to have been a daily driver in Southern California and then parked for a long time in the elements. The photos tell the rest… · Car is sold as-is. I will coordinate with a shipper to have the car picked up, but all expenses for pick up shall be the responsibility of the buyer. Please note the following: 351 Windsor* My mistake, it is not a Cleveland, it is a Windsor and appears to be the original engine. It has the regular sized spark plugs, the radiator hose goes to the intake manifold (not direct to the block), and it has the small valve covers. all consistent with the Windsor 351. This is consistent with the codes on the car. The engine appears to be the original engine. The paint appears to be original except for where there appears to be some spot repairs. There is a bit of cracking in these areas that appears to be bondo cracks. The paint is worn in some areas (particularly the roof and hood) and it is obvious that the paint is original. The radiator appears to have been replaced. The heater box is bipassed as there was a water leak (radiator fluid) in the interior. I did not investigate the cause of the leak.
