Vehicle Detail

1996 Ford Bronco XLT ~108k original miles - I still drive it to work and on errands at times so miles will go up 5.0L with K&N Fuel-Injection Filtercharger Performance Kit intake system E4OD Automatic transmission Rancho 4/3 Lift with limiting straps and multi-directional shocks 4.56 gears ARB Air Lockers front and rear with ARB compressor 31x10.50 BFG Mud-Terrains on stock steel shark rims - good tread but tires are old Power Windows Power Door Locks Cruise Control Air Conditioning Tilt Wheel 32 gallon fuel tank no radio or carpet Rear side panels were cut for built-in storage that used to be mounted on the sides. Ex-Border Patrol vehicle -- still in the white with green stripe colors Upgraded front seats to power tan 1998 Land Rover Discovery SE bucket seats, but they could use some covers as the leather is worn through, seams torn and cracked Cloth rear seat, blue Runs perfect, starts up in hottest or coldest weather. It is not the prettiest vehicle, missing the front bumper, and it has rattles and such, but it is extremely reliable. New battery last year. Getting a car for the kids to learn to drive on and just no time to have any fun with this truck so it is time to sell it. Not smoked in. Several dings and small dents, plus holes in dash where switches for alarm, amp and fog lights were. Some rust but not severe. Tailgate window works intermittently. Tailgate has a crack where there used to be a tire mount and the power window binds up some. I would get a tailgate from the junkyard. Second owner. Owned since January 2004. Bought from dealer that got it from government auction. Other issues I am aware of: - turn signals do not turn off automatically - needs to have this adjusted in the steering column - gear selector indicator has a broken plastic part so it does not point to the gear you are in properly - I pulled out my homemade center console so the power seat controls are not fully bolted down since they were on the console plus they were switched to the inside from the outside and the recline switches go the opposite way - Some of the dash and door panel screw downs are cracked or broken so they rattle - When I pulled the alarm system out, I wired the power locks backwards to they unlock when hit lock and lock when it unlock - easy fix of the wires behind the passenger side panel - MAF sensor is throwing codes P0171, P0174, P0200 and P0000. Since the oil from the K&N filter gets on the sensor, I have just cleaned every 6 months since I have owned it and it goes off for a while, but the codes didn't go off after I just cleaned it this time, so the MAF sensor may need to be replaced - It squeeks and rattles None of the problems affect the drivability of the truck. I drove this truck across the country pulling a travel trailer and would trust it to do so again and again.
