FOR SALE COLLECTION OF 37 ESTATE COLLECTOR PIPES IN 3 LEATHER For sale to an enthusiast, my 1979 early production Porsche 928. I purchased this car on ebay from an LA sealer earlier this year as a project recognizing its desirability as an original California car with rare 5-speed and sun roof delete options. It is currently located in the greater LA area and can be inspected by appointment. Since then, it has undergone refurbishment, including: > New Sachs clutch assembly > New battery > Brakes serviced > New dash and instrument pod cap professionally installed > Redyed carpets (black) > New Fuel Pump filter, hose lines to injectors replaced > Replaced missing grille bars and brackets > Stainless Borla exhaust system from manifold through muffler > Minor exterior paint work (not show quality, a 10 footer). > New hatch and hood struts > Modern digital radio (original speakers maintained and functional) > New German vinyl for seat upholstery professionally installed Black, see photos) > Purchased missing items to complete tool kit > New power mirror switch. Dozens of small interior bits and pieces sourced through 928 International and Ebay > Car fitted with newer chrome slotted 928 factory wheels > Engine tune-up and fluid/ change > Have only recent service receipts The engine fires up at the twist of the key, idles smoothly cold and revs like a new car. All lights, including pop-up headlights work. Odometer is inoperative, shows 52773 miles. As of today there are still items to complete (AC inop. and has not been inspected, some minor electrical issues and the passenger door lock works from the inside only) an enthusiast would want to do a professional repaint (it was painted by a prior owner original Porsche white without a lot of professional disassembly and prep). Car does NOT have current California registration. It is road worthy and a joy to drive. Reason for sale: I have three 928’s and that is one too many, for me.
