I have a 2000 Honda Civic GX (CNG) that has current CA Carpool stickers & has just ~87K miles. I bought it in during the summer and had the car reviewed by Gilroy Honda which gave it a clean bill of health. Approx. 2 months later - the engine overheated and I was told by Gilroy Honda that I would need to fully replace the motor (long block) due to an engine overheat that was unforeseen. Since this time my commute schedule has changed and I don't have the time or need to invest in replacing my motor myself. If you are mechanically inclined this could be a great deal. I can provide Gilroy Honda paperwork (all 100+ point check) & all the documentation related to the CA carpool stickers. When looking for the motor - you need to ask for a D16B5 or equivalent - there are plenty of places online. This car is being sold as is. Replace the CNG or whatever - at least you will be in the carpool lane
