THE PAINT JOB ALONE WAS $3800. THIS VEHICLE HAS WELL OVER $12,000 INVESTED. THE INTERIOR IS ALL BRAND NEW IE: SEATS, DOOR PANELS, CARPETING. THE CONVERTABLE TOP AND THE TONEU COVER ARE ALSO BRAND NEW THE BACK WINDOW IS ORIGINAL GLASS. THE TRANSMISSION IS RECIENTLY REBUILT AND RE GASKETED. THE POWER STERING PUMP IS VERY NEW. THE BRAKES ARE ALL NEW INCLUDING THE FLEXIBLE HOSES, SHOES AND WHEEL CYLINDERS. REAR SHOCKS NEW. THE EXHAUST IS SOLID. THE TIRES ARE ABOUT 85% TREAD. THE WHEELS ARE 18 IN VENTI AN ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. THE TIRES ARE 225 40 18. THE BATTERY IS NEW AS ARE THE HOSES, OIL CHANGE, FILTER AND COOLANT (SORRY CHANGED COOLANT B4 THE HEATER CORE HOSES SO IT LOOKS DIRTY BUT ITS NEW). THE 289 RUNS EXCELENT WITH THE 2BRL CARBURATOR REBUILT. THE POWER TOP WORKS GREAT. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES TERRIFIC. NO FLUID LEAKS SHAKES SHIMMIES WANDERING OR ANY OTHER WIERD ISSUE, ALL THE LIGHTS WORK AND YES IT HAS THE ORIGINAL GLASS LICIENCE PLATE LIGHT. I HAVE THE GALAXIE 500 DOOR PANAL BADGES IF YOU WANT TO GLUE THEM ON. I ALSO HAVE THE PASSANGER SIDE VISOR IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL IT YOU NEED TO MAKE A LITTLE MOUNT OUT OF A BOLT FOR THE RIGHT SIDE OR IF I HAVE TIME I WILL MOST LIKELY DO IT. GOSH I THINK THATS ALL YOU MAY WANT TO DO. THE VEHICLE HAD NO ROT OR RUST PRIOR TO PAINT AND THE FLOORS ARE ALLL SOLID. OH YEA I REMEMBER..WHEN I CLEANED AND LINED THE FUEL TANK I INSTALLED A NEW SENDING UNIT BUT INSTALLED IT AT 90 DEGRES INSTEAD OF 45 DEGRES SO IT SHOWS A FULL TANK OF FUEL ALWAYS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO REMOVE THE FUEL TANK IS UNHOOK ONE FUEL LINE UNPLUG THE SENDING UNIT AND UNDUE THE TWO STRAPS REMOVE AND ADJUST THE SENDING UNIT(OF COURSE DRAIN FUEL).
