Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is our 2006 Nissan Armada SE. This has been our family vehicle since February of 2010 and has given us 30K miles of completely trouble-free use. It has the following features: 5.6L V8 Engine -- 315 HP 5 speed automatic transmission Keyless Entry (two original keys and two keyless remote fobs) Towing package, includes transmission cooler, Class V hitch, prewired with a seven-way trailer harness and transmission temperature gauge on dash, tow mode for transmission Power steering Dual front and side curtain airbags 4 wheel disc brakes Anti Lock Brakes / Electronic Stability Control Third Row Seat Dual Climate Control Rear Heat/AC Bose Audio with 6 disc indash CD Changer with MP3 and RDS Exterior air filter Integrated DVD player with rear 8" fold down DVD monitor Rear seat audio/DVD control Second DVD input wired to rear seat for additional video device (my kids kept an old Gamecube in the car for trips) Parrot MKi-9100 Bluetooth/Music system professionally integrated with Bose audio system Bluetooth phone pairing with voice commands Bluetooth audio streaming from phone or iPod/iPad iPod interface USB stick music player additional AUX input Backup camera mounted in rear tailgate with monitor in sunglass holder Cruise Control Sterring wheel mounted audio controls Power mirrors Homelink Auto-dimming rear view mirror It is in good condition for the age and miles on the car. We have driven this as far north as Toronto and as far south as Orlando. It has been extremely reliable. I have service history on the car since 40K miles. It is clean, with wear on the driver's seat where you slide in. This is common to all Armadas that I have seen with cloth interior. It is a 2WD model, which does help on fuel mileage. At 65-70 mph, it gets around 17 mpg with the AC on. I have driven this to Chicago during blizzard conditions, and with the stability control, there is no issue with handling this thing in the snow. I have only towed a couple of times with it. I towed a U-Haul box trailer with a light load for around 500 miles and towed a 4000 lb load from Indianapolis to Cincinnati (about 130 miles). When I got it, there wasn't a scratch in the receiver, so I know that it hadn't been towed with prior to me getting it. The Bluetooth/Audio system was added in 2010 as was the DVD system. The DVD monitor is one that was custom made for Nissan vehicles. This and the DVD player were wired in just like the factory unit. It is possible to let the kids listen to the radio or CD/MP3 changer in the back through wired headphones or through the factory IR headphone system. It includes 4 sets of IR headphones. Only 3 are pictured. It is also possible to listen to the DVD through the speaker system or through the headphone jacks or IR headphones while something else is on in the front seats. The second input on the DVD player has been wired to RCA jacks under the front seats so that a video game can be played on the video system. Sound on the auxillary input goes to the headphones as well. It is a fantastic travel vehicle. This is a chance to buy a low mileage, maintained Armada for much less than the others on here. Most of the other Armadas in this price range have well over 100K miles and are a couple of years older. I have a very low reserve set. As I am sure you have noticed from the AutoCheck report, this vehicle has a "THEFT" brand on the title. Here is the story on that. I bought this in February of 2010 as a recovered theft with 40K miles and a clean title. It had some paintwork done, so I suspect it was recovered with some light cosmetic damage. I can find no evidence of any major damage. Autocheck reports zero accidents. Since the previous owners were paid before the vehicle was recovered, it was owned by an insurance company who auctioned it off. When it came to Ohio, they checked the NMVTIS database and branded the title with "NMVTIS THEFT - SLVG". This only happened because Ohio is one of the states that reports into the NMVTIS database. It would have received a clean title in some other states. I had a 4 wheel alignment done when I got it and it was within specification. When I got it, it was missing the spare tire, both catalytic converters, the jack and toolset. At that point, the following work was done: New tires (Firestone Wilderness AT, currently at around 60% tread) Both catalytic converters were replaced Replacement alloy wheel and spare tire Replaced the missing tool set and jack assembly Transmission fluid changed Rear end fluid changed There is nothing at all wrong with the vehicle. It has some cosmetic dings and scratches common on a 5 year old vehicle. The vehicle went into service in March of 2007, so it doesn't really have a full five years of use on it yet. It still looks good and I was regularly using it for business trips. The interior is clean (not perfect) and only has the wear on the driver's seat noted above. It has a full set of factory tan mats in good condition with wear that would be expected on the driver's mat. I change the oil with full synthetic every 5-6K miles. It uses nothing between changes. There are no leaks and no issues. I am only selling because I got a great deal on a new 2011 GMC Yukon XL. This Armada got me hooked on big SUVs! The theft brand didn't affect me financing it when I bought it. It is currently financed through US Bank. I plan to pay it off this week so that the title will be free and clear when the auction is over. Even when the title brand is considered, KBB private party book value is $11,500.00. I have a reserve set well below this. My reserve is less than I have seen wrecked, higher mileage Armadas listed for. Most of the other full sized SUV's in the price range that I have set for this car are at least 1-2 model years older and virtually all have well over 100K miles. This is a great inexpensive family travel or tow vehicle. Fly in and drive it home....anywhere. For obvious reasons, this vehicle is being sold AS IS with no warranties expressed or implied. If you want to fly in and drive home, I will pick you up at either the Cincinnati (CVG) or Dayton (DAY) airport. If you want to ship it out, I will work with your shipper and take it to the shipping terminal. Please feel free to ask questions prior to the end of the auction. It is available to look at in the Eastern Cincinnati suburbs. Forms of payment accepted include cashier's check (once cleared) and wire transfer (preferred). $500 (refundable) deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Good luck bidding.
