Vehicle Detail

This auction listing is for a 100% rust-free 1979 Ford Bronco 4x4. This is the cleanest old unrestored Bronco I've ever seen. It was purchased 1.5 yrs ago from the second owner, who was a long-time family friend. He owned it since 1981, driving it regularly on weekends, and always kept it garaged. This Bronco still has the original 1979 paint on it, and it still shines and looks great. The body is totally original and unrepaired/unmodified, with the exception of the tailgate, which was painted because it was damaged, not rusted. There are no patches in the floor or anywhere else on this Bronco. The interior, although not modern and luxurious, is original, clean and in excellent condition. The door panels don't even rattle, which any old Bronco fan knows is unbelievable. It has power steering and brakes, everything else is manual, of course. It has an original dealer installed air conditioning, which won't freeze you out of the truck, but does work. Like all big Broncos the rear roof is also removable for some fun, topless cruising. : ) The motor is a Ford 460 four-barrel motor that was rebuilt. It starts right up, and runs great. Great oil pressure, no leaks or noises. It doesn't smoke or stink and has been serviced regularly. The transmission is the original equipment heavy-duty Ford C-6 which was rebuilt along with the motor and works perfectly. It has quiet dual exhaust. Manual transfer case and hubs, which also work perfectly. All of the drivetrain and gearing are OE stock. This Bronco is currently registered and was last Pa. state inspected in March. It might have been driven a couple hundred miles, since. The stickers are valid until 3/12. The odometer shows 101,000 miles and it is original and correct. This Bronco runs and drives like a dream. The winning bidder may absolutely drive it home with confidence. It needs no repairs of any kind, other than a decent radio. I have driven it on the highway, personally, numerous times and would have no problems with driving it anywhere. The steering is straight and tight. The brakes work fine. It drives down the road straight and smooth. The transmission and four wheel drive work perfectly. All the lights work. The tires are good ... It's awesome. There aren't too many of these old original big Broncos left anymore. Don't miss your chance to own this outstanding example of the original big American SUV... **Please ask any questions prior to bidding. I will do my best to answer your questions in a timely manner.
