The last two pictures are most recent and were taken in Sept. 2011 during a trip to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. They show the new coat of Silver Rustoleum paint I applied over the epoxy primer. This 1997 GMC Hodges Hauler, is originally from Florida. The Hodges Hauler bed was added and it is older than the truck cab and chassis. At 85,000 miles the motor was warranteed by GM and replaced by one of the last Goodwrench 6.5 diesel crate motors. Therefore it has all the upgrades made to these motors during their use. The trans is a 4L80E, 4 speed automatic and the cab is a SLE model. Options are, tilt, cruise, pw, pl, air, single CD AM/FM and power mirrors. The Hodges bed is 19' long and includes a 12k # Winch and pull out ramps. Lights have been upgrated to LED. Four new tires on the back and good tires on the front. Truck drives straight, rides nice with power 60/40 seat. Cloth interior has no rips or tears, non smoker interior. Motor doesn't smoke, brakes are good, A/C has new compressor. I have installed two new fuel tanks, sand blasted the bed and sprayed it with epoxy primer then painted with rustoleum silver. Four tool boxes are all solid, no holes and stainless locking handles. The only blemish is the 4-5 holes in the sides of the bed where I cut out the metal that was rusty with a side grinder. This in no way affects the running, driving or working ability of the truck.
