Just in for Christmas! Backyard find 1972 Lemans-Sport This car has the optional Endura nose, just like the GTO White bucket seat interior with center console Factory A/C, PDB, PS Nothing is missing; all brackets and air conditioner compressor are still bolted on, unlike so many other cars which have had these things removed This engine bay is all correct right down to the air filter housing Good floors and trunk lid, good trunk floor It has some small rot holes on the lower fenders and at the rear bottom quarters near the rear bumper, otherwise looks fairly clean This is an easy restore project If you want to badge it as a GTO, you already have all the GTO options, no need to go hunting for those hard to find parts Weather you drive it while you fix it up, or restore it in it’s entirety over the winter, this needs far less work than many other projects for sale which are similarly priced This car is priced to move This car was originally a medium metallic blue color but has been painted red It has a changed Pontiac engine which runs very well, judging by the codes it is a mid-70’s Firebird engine, I believe it is a 400, 6x on the heads date to 76-77 era The 2 bbl original intake was used, but the 4bbl intake from the Firebird motor is in the trunk The engine code doesn’t specifically identify weather it is a 350 or a 400, but somehow I think the 350 engine would have been a 2bbl, not a 4bbl In either case, it is a dependable runner New master cylinder and alternator This car runs and drives, but tranny is a bit sluggish to me It has a clean title I will not release this car whatsoever until funding has cleared the bank process Cash on the spot is what you need if you intend to take it home when you get here No exceptions-No kidding-No trades Please allow adequate time for responding to questions Don’t expect a response if you’re attempting to sneak one in at the final hours of the auction This car can be inspected by appointment here in Bergen County, NJ, and I urge anyone interested to do so or obtain an independent inspection from a reliable company for your protection as well as mine I have nothing to hide, I will try to answer any question, but please keep it real Reasonable offers will be considered if I don’t make my reserve Again, I urge everyone interested to inquire before you bid, after the sale has concluded, it is yours!
