Up for bid in this auction is this 1957 Dodge Custom Royal two door hardtop coupe with the D 500 "hemi" double rocker shaft 325 V8. NEW, MUCH LOWER RESERVE!! Vehicle comes with a pink slip from 1978, and a bill of sale. This is what you would call a "barn find" as it has been stored inside since 1978, when it was last licensed. This car ran when parked, the engine turns over by hand, it is reasonably complete, including keys, and front license plate and bracket, the license plate number matches the title, APM 385 CA plate last licensed in 1978. Car has brand new tires, the windshield and driver door glass will need to be replaced, it is a rust free example, no rust-thur has been noticed, with it's original yellow and white paint. It will need to be mechanicly restored, including a brake job, and it needs to have the seats recovered, and needs new carpet. The trunk lid has been hit, the trunk latch is missing, and the spear emblem on the L.H. quarter is missing, the spark plug wire cover on the L.H. valve cover is also missing. The door panels are in decent original condition, it has brand new tires, the spare wheel is missing, the original radio is missing and there is a replacement in the trunk, (condition unknown). This is the top-of-the-line Dodge for 1957, a Custom Royal, with the hemi engine. The chrome is in decent condition, the patina matches that of the orginal paint, I will let the pictures speak for them selves. This car is being sold on a bill of sale as-is, and this car does NOT run and will need to be trucked or towed. I would like a $1000.00 deposit via paypal within 48 hours of the auction closing, and the balance in cash. (in-person). I will not ship this car, I will assist the buyer load this car on a truck or trailer.
