Vehicle Detail

I am relisting due to a previous buyer that purchased it at buy now and did not fullfill payment arangements. Unforturnately took it down from the bidding before I could get more photos up. Know what you are bidding on. I have owned 5 porsche 928 since 1984. I have owned this car since April 28 2002. When buying a car that is approaching 30 years old you need to understand when buying a car this old you would want someone that has had a substanial history with the vehicle. This is a daily driver project car. What that means it is a dependable good looking working vehicle that would make a good restoration vehicle that if done properly could get 10- 12,000 in resale value or with a littel effort could get the car to 8,000. Know what you are bidding on. I put a video on Youtube so you can see it and here it. You can view it at agmodels200 1983 928. Happy Bidding. On Nov-28-11 at 07:11:40 PST, seller added the following information: I bought this car in 2003. I rebuilt the transmission in 2004. Then as I was getting ready to restore the car it broke down and sat at a friends auto shop for 3 years. I finally found a good mechanic to fix it and it turned out that the timing belt slipped one tooth on the driver side cam causing the car not to run. The car has been perfect running since 2009. The original owner of the car was Willie Gault the Olympic gold medalist and wide recieved for the 1985 Champion Bears. He purchased the car the year he signed with the Bears. I have all original documents. It has been my daily driver for the last 6 months. I painted the car 2 years ago Black with Blue Pearl. I have not finished the restoration for lack of time and money. This is a 30 year old car andt the interior has not been touched. I will post more pictures on interior later today. Monday 11-28-2011. I will list the things that have been replaced and the items that are not working mechanically. Replaced Transmission Rebuild within 10,000 miles, Water pump and Timing Belt within 5,000 miles. New 18"rims and tires within 10,000 miles, Ignition wires and spark plugs 10,000 miles. New alternator within 1,000 miles. Paint within 2 years. Not working Air conditioning, Sun roof sluggish, cruise control. Interior Missing back carpet and mat in hatch area. Front seats warn and driver seat tear on right side back, Back seats mildewed from whether. Cracks on top of dash and pod. I have always covered with dash cover. This is the time to buy a 928. 928 International where I buy my parts is having a 50% off sale on all used 928 parts thru December 23rd. This will drastically reduce the cost of interior restoration. * I have this car listed on other advertising media and reserve the right to end the auction at my discretion.
