This is a public agency owned 2005 GMC 2500 4 wheel drive pickup with 128,230 miles. It is equipped with a Vortec 6.0 FI V8 eng., 4 speed automatic transmission (transmission was rebuilt at approximately 115,000 miles and has “No Warranty”), AM/FM radio, tilt wheel, and A/C. Interior in good condition for vehicle of this age and use, 40/20/40 front bucket seats, side mounted tool boxes, winch carrier (winch and fairlead are not included). Tires are worn and need to be replaced, mechanic says right front wheel bearing is noisy and needs to be replaced and front brakes squeak. Body and paint has normal wear, dings and scratches associated with a fleet truck. Blemishes include logo removal on both doors, dents on driver side fender, door and bed and passenger side fender and bed, small holes in tunnel where radio was mounted and tear at rear of bed on drivers side where tools boxes are mounted (tools boxes are included), driver’s door leaks and makes wind noise when vehicle is moving (probably from bent door hinge), molding at bumper is loose and chip in windshield. A smog certificate is provided with the vehicle. Please do not bid if you cannot meet the following requirements. Payment for the vehicle must be received in full by 5:00 PM on December 20, 2011 (or when the vehicle is picked up, whichever is earlier) at our office in Fresno, California in the form of a cashier’s check from a major bank. The office is open Mon. through Fri. between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST. The vehicle is sold “As Is”, “Where Is” with “No Warranty” what so ever. The buyer must arrange and pay for shipping or pick up the vehicle in the District’s yard in Fresno, California within 7 days of close of auction. . License plates have been removed from the vehicle and buyer must obtain any necessary permits to move the vehicle. Since the vehicle is owned by a public agency, the auction must run it’s full term and offers to end the auction early will not be considered. The reserve price has been set at $1,800.00.
