This item has been re-listed as the winning bidder was a bum and never paid or contacted me, please if you don't intend to buy you shouldn't waste my time or your's so I reserve the right to cancel bids of anyone having excessive negative feedback or zero feedback. Up for auction is a 1998 Ford E 350, 1 ton van, has the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel and was converted at the factory by Quigley, the only 4 wheel drive conversion company approved by the Ford Motor Co. The conversion alone runs $12- 15,000, It has a Superchip scanner for reading and deleting codes when doing any maintanence or it can switch your programming to a tow mode for 50 HP more when towing, has front and rear receiver hitches and an 8000 lb. Warn winch with remote, cover and bag, the body is a cargo body, I also have a nice set of riveted aluminum Ford rims that go with the truck. The body is pretty straight but has some rust, I tried to get it the best in pics, I would say it needs a couple of rear wheel well corners, and a rocker panel to do it right. The tranny is a rebuilt by Aamco with abt. 20,000 miles, the engine has 250,000 miles but if you know the Ford Powerstrokes they last up to 700- 800,000 mile. The truck has been sitting as I bought it as a project but work commitments force to sell due to no time to wrench it, the motor will run if you fill the fuel bowl with diesel, but dies and will not re-fill, so I assume after a lot of I did diagnostic it needs a fuel pump, $89 on e-bay,also needs a brake line as it's got the classic rotted rear Ford brake line frame has surface rust, I was planning on doing a power wash, wire brush and POR-15 or similar coating, it's got 2 good batteries, new starter, new fuel filter, new starter relay, has the deep finned, aluminum transmission pan and rear end covers. Could be a really nice truck with some elbow grease, at a fraction of the cost, done up, this truck is worth well over $10,000.00 and a diesel Quigley is rare , most are gas. Good luck bidding.
