OK HERE IT IS , THIS TRUCK WAS BUILT OVER 20 YEARS AGO AND HAS BEEN PARK IN BARN FOR MORE THAN 16 YEARS NOT USED. I PURCHASED TRUCK FROM A FARM NEAR MY HOME AS I DISCOVERED IT UNTOUCHED FOR MORE THAN 16 YEARS. OWNER PARKED IT BECAUSE THE 390 LOST A TIMING CHAIN. IT HAS SAT IN OUT OF THE WEATHER ALL THIS TIME AND THE BODY IS AMAZING FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS CUSTOM BUILT OVER 20 YEARS AGO. THE BARN WAS A DIRT FLOOR SO IT RUINED THE VERY LOW MILE 16.5 TIRE THAT CAME ON IT. I JUST FOUND THE 19.5 RIMS THAT ARE ON THE FRONT AND I HAVE MATCHING OUTER ALLOYS FOR THE REAR (INNER STEELS)BUT THEY ARE CHEVY HUB SIZE AND WILL NEED CENTER HUB HOLE MADE 1/8 INCH BIGGER TO BEMOUNTED ON FORD REAREND. (IF YOU DONT WANT THE ALLOYS AND ONLY WANT THE 16.5 WE CAN TAKE THEM OFF AND I WILL GIVE 500.00 CREDIT OFF PRICE OF AUCTION END. call me if that confuses anyone!!!!!. RUNNING GEAR, the motor is a 390 with new timming chain and gears, i also install new waterpump and fuel pump since they were off to repair timing set. I also installed new points ,condenser ,coil and battery, a little fuel and it fired right up. motor sounds great no funny ticks or rattles, stack are pretty quiet, left valve cover gasket is leaking oil on to exshaust manifold. THIS TRUCK WILL NEED FINAL TUNE UP BEFORE ITS READY FOR THE ROAD. (like cap rotor,plugs and wires,ect. TRANSMISSION is a c6 and seams to shift fine the little i have moved it around, RADIATOR is huge and also has big trans cooler also,REAREND, is a dana 70 with a stack of leaf springs about 12inches dep with the overloads. POWER STEERING AND POWER DISC BRAKES,(front brakes a little stick from sitting so long. might need new calipers to be road worthy, THIS IS A 1970 FORD F350 CHASSIS THAT HAS BEEN LENGHTED 18 INCHES OVER STOCK. BED LENGTH IS 15 FT, was built to haul previous owner builders model a ford. The bed in my eyes need more work to be functioning car hauler,(no ramps), 1948 COE BODY, extremely soild, no signs of cancer anywhere! extra cab was built very nice, but never had interior done, (only two bucket seats). rear window do go up and down but have no regulators.Front door glass on drivers side has small crack and wing window doesnt close easy. windshield is nice with chrome trim, DASH INSTERMENTS were restored and seem to work good, didnt notice if speedo was hooked up though. dash lights work as do all marker lights and headlights and blinkers, horn relay makes noise but horns dont honk. WIPERS WORK electric not vacuum. Dog house could be made a little smaller but seat goes back very far do to having extra cab, with a 6ft drive there is enough room to have smaller ford style jumper seats in back. EXTERIOR OF TRUCK the body and paint are in good shape for the age. could use a buff, Looke like a enamel job. But builder painted it inside and out. under hood,firewall, inside jams and inside fenders. THE STAINLESS TRIM IS VERY NICE AND STILL VERY POLISHED.(do to the inside storage) door shut nice , windows roll up and down nice, needs door weatherstrips. Mirrors are a little ugly.FLAT BED need some work, has f350 fuel tank mounted on drivers side and huge aftermarket tank on right side of bed, (it needs cleaned havent try to switch over ) Bed i feel need side skirts to look good. VERY COOL PROJECT. WITH MAJOR WORK DONE. LAST REGISTERED IN 1995, TRUCK IS REGISTERED OFF THE CHASSIS AS THAT IS WHAT OREGON DMV WANTS SO IT IS A 1970 FORD F350. CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE.
