The Mercedes Benz 300 series turbo diesel coupe was made in limited numbers from 1981-1985. The classic W123 body style with very durable 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine is well known to exceed 500,000 miles use. The 30+ MPG has made it more popular during this time of increasing energy prices. The original diesel engines not being made to run on petroleum products but vegetable oil, these engines are being converted to run on veg oil/wvo/biodiesel. This is the reason for my purchasing this coupe. I now find that the limited amount of driving has changed my needs. This and the general cost of living requirers my selling. If you will view the enclosed pictures you will note physical condtion is near perfect. This being a California car it has no rust . The engine runs quietly (for a diesel) easy start with newer glow plugs and battery. General maintainence includes new oil,fuel and air filters,radiator flushed, a/c blows cold. New tires and wheel alignment. Every thing works on the car, the Clock, windows ,sunroof,lights, power mirror,radio (Becker), antenna, the cruise control worked last time I tired. The car has not been smoked in, the lighter works for cell recharger. The car is ready to drive across the country. Interior is clean, no cracks in dashboard, front seats recovered firm,no sag. upholstery is clean, all doors open and close smoothly. As the picture further indicate the exterior is very clean, and has been repainted its original color Smoke Silver. All chrome and rubber in good condition. One must also remember that this car is 26 years old will continue to increase in value. and is ready to convert to veg/wvo/bio to be used as a daily driver.
