1995 BMW M-540 Sport. This is one of 200 cars imported to the US, which is essentially an M-5 except that it has the 4 liter V-8. Car was driven daily up until two years ago, when the front EDC suspension needed replaced. The car has sat since. Ran strong when parked. It has approx 320,000 miles on it, but I was unable to verify the exact mileage as the battery is dead from sitting. The Bad: -Needs front struts (EDC) replaced, and should probably have rear done at the same time. -Hood is dented - fan clutch gave out and sent a piece of the fan into the hood. All related mechanicals were replaced, but the hood was never repaired. (see picture with hand in it) -Cosmetic issues, including faded clear coat on roof and hood, clear coat peeling on trunk; multiple small dents, dings, and paint chipping consistent with 300k+ miles; front airdam was broken on a parking block. -Car has sat for two +/- years and therefore should be thoroughly gone over (and have suspension repaired/replaced) before driving. -The area where the "arm" enters the drivers' door is damaged, and the door will not stay open on its own. (see pic) The Good: -Excellent interior. -All original, including EDC suspension, Turbine II (throwing star) wheels, etc... The car will be sold with all four original Turbine II wheels, however two do not have tires mounted, and are in the trunk (it will leave with four rolling wheels, plus the two additional Turbine IIs).
