His business was changing gears and he needed something newer. This van lived most of its' life as a daycare van, hauling kiddos. It's not a show stopper, but it serves the purpose and is priced accordingly. We had the van repainted because the paint was pretty well shot. It has a clean history, no accidents. The van is a 15 passenger, but no last row of seating. We have a 3 seat Ford Bench and both 3 and 4 seat Chevy benches, you'll need to do the install if you want one, but we'll throw it in the deal. The van looks very presentable, runs and drives nice and has pretty low mileage for the year. It does have the more desirable 351 motor and it's seen good service. This is a good 'cheap' people mover that'll get the job done and won't break the bank. exterior As mentioned, the paint is new. It has pretty good gloss, there was no scaly body rust on the van, it's been here in Colorado and we don't salt the roads in the winter. It's straight overall, there wasn't any bad dents. The right rear door and two middle side doors were replaced with a van that had bright white paint, consequently the jambs don't match, but you cant tell from outside. All the doors open and close easily and seal well. There is some overspray and a few little runs in the paint. The wheel covers are ok, one is cracked, tires are decent, but not new. They're evenly worn. The bumpers and grille/headlamp trims are a tad faded. The windshield is fine. The van looks just like the photos, great at 10 feet, fair at 5. interior The interior is decent, about like the exterior. The rear vinyl has been removed and it's been sprayed or rolled with a heavy plastic coat, looks ok. The vinyl is fine, no torn panels, not new though. The last row of seating has the typical bend in the top from leaning over it. The trunk is scratched up, missing a panel. All the electronics work inside, air blows cold, etc. mechanical This van runs out very well. It's been daily transportation for the previous owner and before that, it would've been meticulously serviced. Colorado does not require safety inspections for private vehicles, but daycare vans are required to be inspected and scrutinized yearly by the state. This van does fire easy, runs smooth, drives straight and shifts well. It's a 17 year old van and not new, but it's pretty civilized and should be fine for a long while yet. We've changed the oil and filter, cap+rotor and the TPS sensor, brakes are fine, belt, hoses ok, few minor seepy spots, no bad leaks, shifts fine and no warning lights. comments This is a solid inexpensive van and reliable transportation.
