up for sale is my 1979 Chevy caprice classic Aerocoupe. All of the drive-train/suspension has been replaced. It has an ls1 style motor from a 2001 Cadillac Escalade that has 75000 verifiable miles. the car has 169000 on the body. the engine is a lq9 Vortec max that only came in 4wd and awd Cadillac Escalades and Chevy SS trucks which is very desirable among the ls1 croud because it comes factory with 345 horsepower, full floating coated flattop pistons, heavy duty rods and a higher compression ratio. the motor was disassembled and checked. has new h3 style oil pan and pick-up, new head gaskets, heads milled 15 thousandths for a compression ratio around 10:5 to 1, new head bolts, new gm performance lifters and trays, new gm intake valley gasket and new one piece trick flow push-rods. I can forward my on line invoice and receipts for all parts. Transmission is a newly rebuilt 700r4 with performance upgrades throughout and a 2000 stall convertor also have receipt for that at 1400+ dollars. the rear end is an 8.5 inch 10 bolt posi traction unit with 4:11 gears. all shocks are 2 years old and are kyb's higher end shocks. the springs are the upgraded police units. i also have drag bags in the rear springs that are totally adjustable through an air fitting behind the rear license plate. the drive shaft is a 3' aluminum shaft custom made from a local shop in Albany. i will also include the original shaft that would be needed if you ever wanted to put in a 3 speed th350 tranny. I have over 4500 dollars in reciepts for the engine and tranny alone which will go to the winning bidder. car has new water pump, alternator, power steering pump, carb, intake, ignition controller (MSD 6010) iridium plugs, plug wires, alum radiator, electric fan that goes on at 195 and off at 185, electric transmission cooler that goes on at 185 and off at 175, air cleaner, royal purple synthetic trans fluid, Mobil 1 synthetic 5w 30 engine oil, 1 3/4" stainless steel headers.dual magnaflow mufflers, x pipe, holley blue electric fuel pump, russell fuel filters front and back, Holley fuel pressure gauge, fuel lines and fittings, manual choke cable, lokar throttle bracket and cable with 700r4 geometry corrector bracket, tv cable, Holley fuel pressure regulator, oil pressure sending unit, temp sending unit, transmission temp sending unit, autometer oil pressure, engine temp and transmission temp gauges. custom 6k speedhut lifetime warranty tachometer. kilduff ratchet shifter (kilduff machine.com) , and im sure that im forgetting some stuff. The car has zero rust and is a paint job away from being an new car.
