Vehicle Detail
1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am For sale is a 10th Anniversary Trans Am, in very good condition. Runs great, handles well, plenty of power from it's big V-8 engine. This T/A has had many parts replaced or restored over the years, including:- new seats - seat buns and upholstery- new door panels- steering wheel restored- new carpet- new headliner- seat belts restored- new console, dash bezel, dash cap, etc.- new tires and wheels - less than 5,000 miles since being put on the car- and many other cosmetic and mechanical parts - grilles, interior trim, lights, shocks, battery, filters, belts, hoses, fan clutch, etc - basically, whatever was needed to keep the car looking good, and being reliable to drive! Both the A/C and heater work, the radio was replaced with a modern CD player. This T/A is one of the 5600 automatic transmission cars, with the 403 c.i. Oldsmobile engine. Lots of receipts, owner's manual, PHS documentation, etc. Some history on the car: I purchased this T/A from a gentleman in Georgia in 2005. The car had 51,000 miles on the odometer it when I bought it, I was told that was accurate, but I had no way of verifying this. From what I can tell, this car has spent it's whole life in the south - Alabama, Virginia, Georgia and Florida. I've put approximately 5,000 miles on the car since then (~ 1,000 miles a year), mainly taking it to car shows and cruise nights. Car is garage-kept and started/washed/waxed regularly. As you can see by the pictures, this car is not a "trailer queen", but is in very nice condition, and with a little effort, could be a consistent show winner. My primary reason for selling the car is because I purchased a 1999 30th Anniversary T/A about a year ago, and as much as I'd love to keep both T/A's, the 10th Anniversary is getting very little attention these days and I feel it should go to someone who will drive it and enjoy it as much as I have.I've tried to provide the highlights on this wonderful car, but please feel free to e-mail or call/text my cell with any questions, or requests for additiona, pictures - (407)342-5689.PAYMENT TERMS: $1000 cash, in person or by PayPal within 48 hours of auction's end. Balance due within 7 days. Title will not be transferred until everything has been cleared. Note that the car is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS: Local pickup preferred; if shipping within the USA, I will assist the winning bidder with loading and securing the car onto the auto transporter – however, the cost and arrangements for the shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Thanks for looking and good look bidding!!
