Vehicle Detail

For your consideration is a very nice 1995 Thunderbird SC for restoration, daily driver, or parts. It is quite special, in that it is the last year that the super coupe was produced, and also in that this car has EVERY AVAILABLE FACTORY OPTION...including moonroof, factory ford hands free cellular phone (only one i've ever seen with controls in dash for hands free and a regular chorded phone in the console...there is a mic. by the rear view mirror and the other persons voice came over the radio speakers) ***note: i changed the radio so i could play burned cd's but the phone still works and the factory radio is included and can easily be changed back** , premium sound w/ cd, leather, tri-coat paint, etc.... I should note also that i bought the car on 5/20/98 from Davies Ford in Connellsville PA. The car even still has the dealer plate on the front. i will include all original documentation from when i bought the car, including the ford certified used car window sticker from 1998, original unopned bottle of ford supercharger fluid,etc.. As for the history of the car, i purchased it in 1998 and let it sit in my garage till 2001 at which time i began to use the car as my daily driver. The car proved exceptionally reliable aside from developing torque converter chatter in 2005. at this time the original transmission was totally rebuilt and modified for performance and durability by Hi-Performance Transmission. cost was $2,202.68. and a receipt is included. Also, in late 2009 the odometer gears broke.. so accurate mileage from this point on is a guestimate. I then continued to drive the car as a daily driver until June of 2011. I only quit driving it because we have a much newer more fuel efficient car and i was tired of paying for premium fuel. I am Selling the car for restoration or parts due to the fact that i have not started the car since moving it around in the driveway over the summer. i work full time..go to school full time..and am working on our house...so the car is the least of my concerns....i just want to sell it to somebody who will appreciate it before it deteriorates. i went to start it and the battery is dead and i have no desire to play with it to get it back to daily driver condition. The buyer should expect to tow or trailer the car although i have 100percent no reason to believe that with a change of oil (its always had mobile 1 synthetic) for safety sake, and probably turning the brake discs due to surface rust you should be able to drive it. The paint is very nice w no fading...the interior is very nice also, but the carpet needs cleaned or replaced. car has typical surface rust under passenger body kit..not too bad...some rust on passenger strut tower but is stable. Also, the air looses it charge quickly (about a week) and isnt currently working...the drivers side motor mount is bad..so you have a rough vibration in gear...and the passenger exhaust manifold has a leak( ticks but goes away when warm.) Thats it...Its a project for sure...but definately a good one for a Super Coupe enthusiast. (NO RESERVE!!!)
