Classic Airhead 1979 BMW R65/5 w/Classic spyder cast wheels Ride earlier and later in the seasons with a Luftmeister Fairing w/lowers(not recommended, but you can drink a cup of coffee on the highway behind this fairing) and plenty of storage in the fairing, tank cover w/pouches) and the set of Hard bags for those long trips. Very comfortable I’m 6’1 and previous owner was 5ft.8 so it comfortable for a good range of riders. Major overhaul at 80k miles New; OEM Exhaust, Stellite Valves & Seats, ported heads, AMG maintenance free Battery, Brakes and Rod and Main bearings. All motor work on Cylinder heads w/ 750 hardest valves in the industry installed, all new gaskets, headset and wheel bearings too. Carbs rebuilt and synchronized. Tires new last year, good amount of rubber left. Clutch is appx. 75% full. Brakes appx 90%. Splines freshly rebuilt. BMW Tool Kit included and leather tank cover. New points 4k miles (2 extra BMW points sets w/bike) . Bike Run very well and tuned, a smooth running machine whether cruising on parkway or highway bike runs top. I am the second owner of this finely engineered BMW, she has 94k well cared for mechanic owned miles. Clear Title and ready for a new owner.
