Vehicle Detail

1970 dodge Challenger 383 s/e with all matching numbers front to rear. Original solid 2 owner car. I rescued this car from a backyard in Missouri. I repl batt cable ends, fuel pump, cleaned the tank and sender, and the car starts and runs like a champ. Original 727 works perfect. 8-3/4 rear axle limited slip. Original everything except batt, plug wires, valve covers, exhaust, coil and air cleaner. Im 99% sure it has never been apart. Jack and spare are unused. Fender tag is in place. I have not found a build sheet yet but Im sure its in there somewhere. Original ac is all intact, wipers, lights, idiot lights, dome, etc all work fine. Car's wiring in great shape. The frame rails and floors front to back are awesome. There is not undercoating so they are easy to see , just nice solid steel. Its wearing most of its original fk5 paint except for the front fenders. The seats have been recovered nicely in their original fk5 color. carpet is original and nice. bad-The rr quarter is wasted, needs a lower quarter skin. Trunk floor is mostly gone. second owner replaced the front fenders, but I have the originals from him although they rusted at the front edges because someone started to do some sanding and never covered up or finished. When the vinyl top was removed years ago someone covered the mldg holes with some crappy bondo that has cracked and looks uglier than it is. Metal underneath is nice. The rf torque box for the torsion bar does have some crustiness but is structurally fine. Simple welding would fix. The non power drum brakes need a master cylinder, I will do that before auction close, saving the original of course. Once this is done assuming the drum brakes arent having leaky wheel cyl issues I would say the car could drive anywhere. Call me with questions if serious 913 208 4508
