1975 Mercury Sno Twister 340 S/T. I bought this sled as a basketcase all disassembled and mostly beat from previous racer. the sled was torn down to its bare shell and any repairs to tunnel were fixed. then through the ebay community i bought many OEM parts from Classic Muscle Sleds and Image Enterprises in Wisconsin. New parts include new stronger 2 piece bulkhead, new jackshaft support (pillowblock ), new seat foam and cover, OEM windshield and mount, new decal kit ( missing left side sno twister decal )< OEM correct red gauges with 1 mile on speedometer, new dash assemly made from fiberglass instead of original plastic one, lots of other miscellaneous parts and have all original parts that came off. The motor is a K340RS Kohler correct for the sled with new fuel pump, filter, all oil and fuel lines, new chain tensioner roller assembly and chaincase cover. also have a brand new in the package still Twister cover for it though it is Blue and White. has brand new pipes into stock muffler. sled ran super strong upon start up and am having difficult time starting it this season as i believe the carbs need to be synchronized or there is an electrical or fuel delivery problem. The engine turns over fine and is not seized. Suspension and track are original and work fine, skis' are rough but i have new ones and all new ski mount bushings. well over $3000.00 invested. awesome vintage snowmobile, economy forces sale. also have lots of schematics and owners manual. call with any questions or to come see it.
