This truck has always been non-smoker, adult owned and never taken “off-roading”. I purchased the truck from a co-worker when it was about two years old and had 20,150 miles on it. It is in very good to excellent shape needing nothing but new tires soon; the summer tires that are on the truck are the originals, see below for info on the available winter tires and wheels. The alloy wheels have never been run in the winter. The truck runs flawless and has no issues. I have maintained the truck well and have used only synthetic oil since I’ve owned it; before that the previous owner changed the oil every 3000 miles I was told. It has a new exhaust system from the cat back. The front brake pads and rotors where replaced at 30,435 miles. The only non-stock modification to the truck is a 2” Tuff Country lift installed in the front to help with the weight of the plow (see below). The lower ball joints were both replaced as part of a recall. This truck was also subject to one of the frame rust recalls. As part of that recall in 2009 the frame was inspected by a Toyota dealer, passed, they cleaned then undercoated it, and provided a 15 year unlimited mileage warrantee; I have all the paperwork from that process for the successful bidder. I have noticed that some of the undercoating they put on is falling off; perhaps it should be taken back and re-inspected, although as I read it the warrantee does not require doing so unless the owner is notified. The truck has never been in an accident nor had any major body damage repaired. I did have a ding in the tail gate and a small scrape in the right rear by the taillight professionally repaired; I have “before” photos for anyone who wants to see them. There are a couple small dings in the tail gate still remaining. There are small scratches especially on the bed where things have been loaded and unloaded. There are also other small scratches elsewhere, I have taken photos of all these and I believe if anything they look worse in the photos than in person. None of these are showing rust or anything of that sort. The rear bumper is new. The truck has the following OEM options: Wheel and tire upgrade to 265/70-16 with overfenders, Alloy Wheels Sliding rear window with privacy tint SR5 Package (chrome bumpers, chrome grille surround, intermittent wipers, tilt wheel, dual sun visors w/mirrors and extensions, white faced instruments, AM/FM/Cassette/CD player w/6 speakers, AC, digital clock) Carpeted floor mats Bedliner Aftermarket accessories: U-Haul 2” receiver type trailer hitch with wiring. All weather front floor mats. I have all original owners’ manuals to go to the successful bidder along with the original window sticker and other documents. The title is clear and without leans so there will be no issues there. This is a wonderfully little truck that is very economical to run. Some changes in my other owned vehicles and the obvious lack of use it receives makes it unjustifiable for me to keep this truck; I’m sure I will miss it. The truck can be test driven and/or inspected by appointment any day up until the close of the auction except Saturday 26 November. I have a heated shop with floor jack, etc. available. The vehicle is currently registered and insured. I’m more than happy to answer any questions or take any requested additional photos. OPTIONAL AVAILABLE SNOW PLOW AND WINTER TIRES/RIMS Since some buyers might not be interested in or able to use the snow plow and/or the studded winter tires I will offer these items separately to the successful bidder. The price will be $650 for the snow plow and $300 for the studded winter tires and wheels. These prices are non-negotiable; don’t plan on buying the truck and then making me a low ball offer for these optional items. Just to be absolutely clear, these optional items are not part of the auction. The snow plow was installed on the truck in 2006. It is a 7 foot Curtis Home Pro 3000 which has the nice “Hitch-N-Run” system. The plow blade itself is HDPE not metal. The snow plow has never been used commercially, it has only plowed my drive and for the last two years that of a widowed friend and neighbor. The plow is all fully functional, although it could use a new cutting edge. If the successful bidder does not want the plow I will remove all the on-truck mountings and electrical connections and put back the original skid plate. The snow tires are in excellent shape and they are studded, which could be a problem for buyers in some states. They are mounted on the original steel wheels and the center caps and lug nuts are included. The steel wheels do have some rust as can be seen in the photos. This vehicle is also being advertised locally thus I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you are interested I would suggest that you not wait until the last minute to make your bid(s). Payment terms: A non-refundable deposit of $500 via PayPal will be required from the successful bidder within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder of the purchase price will be due at pickup in the form of cash or certified check. Pickup must be made within 7 days of close of auction or buyer forfeits deposit and vehicle will be re-advertised for sale. Thank You.
