I bought this low mileage 1998 Volvo V70 XC a little over a year ago. I am starting bids at $4000, with NO RESERVE. If you bid, and you win, its yours. I have about $8k in this car from purchase through maintenance and repairs. I would keep it, but other circumstances for the sale. Repairs and maintenance in the last year: Immediately after buying the car I updated all the maintenance: Replaced the timing belt and tensioners new water pump new thermostat coolant flush new brake rotors (all four) new brake pads (all four) brake fluid flush new front struts new springs (all four) alignment new engine torque mount new transmission mount transmission fluid flush Rear differential fluid flush replaced all coolant hoses new coolant reservoir and cap new accessory belts new battery new headlight bulbs new A/C evaporator core, accumulator, orifice tube and freon ICE COLD AIR! New heater core since the dash was out doing the A/C stuff: HOT HEAT! All parts used were genuine volvo parts. The car is a 1998 Volvo V70XC Turbo Wagon. Its black with tan leather interior. 105,000 miles. Thats really low miles and equals only about 8000 miles a year. These cars go well over 250k, so theres plenty of life left. Legendary Volvo safety with front and side airbags, daytime running lights, power seats, heated seats, cruise control works flawlessly, A/C just redone and works great with auto settings to boot, heat is hot, roof rack, allow wheels, fuel economy monitor gets about 24mpg around town (thats AWESOME for All Wheel Drive!), 5 cylinder Turbocharged engine with automatic transmission (has economy, sport and winter modes), front and rear power outlets, cup holders, height adjustable seat belts, etc. Since its a wagon and the rear seat folds down, there is massive amounts of room in this thing. Did I mention safety? This car has a ridiculous number of airbags. Also, no rust anywhere on the body. I went nuts on this car,if it looked like it could possibly go out I replaced it. If I couldnt verify that it had already been maintained, I went ahead and did the maintenance. I was going to give the car to my daughter when she turns 16 later this year, so I wanted to be sure everything worked properly and it was as safe as possible, I was almost done with everything but I have lost my job and now it needs to go. The only thing left that the car really needs is tires, and I am willing to include a new set of all-seasons installed if the bids go over $6k. The car is all wheel drive, so its practically unstoppable in the snow, heated front and rear seats so its nice and comfy while doing it. The car has the original CD player and tape player that both work perfectly. It also has the rear facing third row seat and power sunroof. PICTURES.... 63 of them. THE BAD: passenger side rear power locks dont work to unlock, only to lock. Body looks good, but is not perfect, there are a few dings appropriate for the age of the car, See pictures Rear hatch doesnt stay up (I have the struts and may fix this before it sells, if not, they will go with the car.) The grill on one of the rear speakers is cracked. Still needs rear tires, fronts are at about 50%. I will pay to replace, see conditions section below for conditions. Vehicle history report shows one accident, READ ON... If you look at the pictures you can see a scrape on the front left bumper where I hit a shopping cart. It would not have been a problem, except that someone decided that buried inside a full shopping cart in the middle of an icy parking lot during an ice storm was the ideal place to put their 8 year old kid. The damage was only paint related, but the lady was quite opportunistic and called an ambulance and police and forced the reporting of the accident. The kid was undamaged and the car had a minor scrape on the bumper. The shopping cart itself was even undamaged, that shows how minor the incident was. To add insult to injury, the lady's husband stole my GPS while I was talking to the police. CONDITIONS:Offered at NO RESERVE. This means you bid you buy.
