1982 300TD Wagon - 350K, 200K on motor. Excellent compression - no problems starting, even below freezing. California car - no rust. Re-painted in 2009. crack-free dash, beautiful wood inside, custom wood shifter from 70s S-Class, smaller-diameter steering wheel from 90s E-Class, sony stereo with new speakers, including integrated subwoofer and iPod interface through globebox. Comes with brand new headliner, though not installed. Self-leveling rear suspension works great - nitrogen accumulators (shocks) replaced mechanical: transmission has stopped working in drive, but without any previous slippage - probably an easy fix for an experienced mechanic. Religious valve adjustments every 15K miles, oil changes every 5K miles. All oil synthetic - engine, transmission, differential, power steering. New brakes all four corners, flex hoses replaced on all four corners, and master cylinder replaced. engine oil cooling hoses to and from engine oil cooler replaced. hydraulic line from SLS pump replaced. Self-leveling rear suspension works great - nitrogen accumulators (shocks) replaced, spring struts a bit noisy over bumps. Front end suspension rebuilt in 2009. body: dark graphite metallic, painted in 2009. minor dent in right rear by fuel-filler tank, otherwise solid/no damage. Struts on wagon hatch replaced - stays open no problem.
