Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Hi, Up for auction is a 1978 VW Bus that drives really well and is ready to go across the country on its next road trip. This past summer we put about 7000 miles round trip on the bus going to the Grand Canyon and northern Colorado and yes I did an oil change about half way and when we got back. Here are some of the good points about this bus: The correct Yokahama tires that have less than 10,000 miles on them New pop up tent Redesigned cabinets with much of the laminate replaced 1500 watt inverter with camping battery 700 watt microwave 15 inch wide screen TV with antenna and a play station 2 for movies and games Front and back 12 volt outlets This Bus has a cruise control unit but it is not currently working. The A/C components are there but it works marginally at best not anything like a newer car. The bus has a fuel injected engine that is good and strong but is not the original engine. It sleeps 4 comfortably, way better than the earlier buses and has the sink that works. The ice box is to the left of the back seat but we found it easier to use a medium sized cooler and use the ice box for storage. The only things I know it's missing are the front child’s cot and a tire jack. All the original curtains and the rear bug screen are there. This bus is over 30 years old and is not perfect but it’s a great driver that can also be restored, the body does have rust but it is very manageable and confined to the outer body panels.$500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end and full payment is due within 7 days of auctions end.Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
