1983 FORD Dump Truck, Single Axle, 5 Yard Box, 429-4V Gasoline Engine, 5-speed manual transmission with 2 speed (electric shift) rear axle. Power steering and power brakes. 66,000 + miles, Tires are 10:00 x 20, most in fair condition, one tire is poor. Has engine driven hydraulic pump, three hydraulic controls in cab, one front hydraulic quick connect, and two rear hydraulic quick connectors. Front frame is ready for a plow. Engine starts and runs good, and has lots of power (Drove it home 200 miles without downshifting once for a hill.). Front fenders and grille are fiberglass and in good condition. Cab is steel with some rust. Interior is poor. Hydraulic tank has a very slow leak which is repairable. Dump box works well and cylinder, etc, are in good condition , tailgate works well, spread chains are fine. Rest of vehicle is in usable condition. Box measures 9 ft long, 7 ft wide, 26" high w/o side boards (5 cubic yard capacity) or 33" high with sideboards (approx 6.4 cubic yard capacity). Right front spring needs repair, windshield is cracked. Box has been repainted, and vehicle appearance is quite good. Truck apparently was a road-commission truck and is heavy-duty throughout. Bought it on E-bay, used it very little, did some repairs, and am ready to sell it. Title is clear, up to date, no liens. Located about 20 minutes south of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
