This is a beautiful Honda CRX that I am selling for my older next door neighbor. This car has always been kept indoors in the garage .I have coveted this car for myself but with two children in college I can't afford to move it next door. This car has never been out in the weather and has been driven only on periodic drives by my neighrbor's wife to keep it fresh. This has always been serviced by the local Honda dealer and all of the service receipts for the entire ownership of 27 years plus original window sticker are included. The 90,00 mile service was done recently and the timing belt, water pump, clutch and brakes have been done within the last 4-5,000 miles. The timing belt was replaced at about 44,000 miles and again at 85,000 miles. Needless to say no expense was spared and every maintenance suggestion by the dealer was followed. The interior is immaculate and the paint is excellent and the buckets seats were recovered and rebuilt within the last few years. This car has Am Fm Stereo and factory air conditioning which blows cold I drove it for its biennial smog test in January which it passed with flying colors. The engine emissions outputs were all really low. I really enjoyed driving it , it handles great and has a lot of power! While the car fax mentions it failed smog on one or more occasions, the mechanic found that the EGR valve and passages were clogged and they only needed cleaning. The emissions readouts were very low. This is the same car that was listed previously; unfortunately, just prior to the end of the auction it was bumped on the fender in a minor parking lot incident where the other driver did not even leave a note . The car has been professionally repaired and the paint scuff in the area has been blended to correctly match the rest of the car. This car has fiberglass fenders and there was a crack at the top of the right front fender which was properly repaired by the body shop. Please note that this car was ordered new with the lower body panels painted by Honda to match the rest of the car. The owner did not like the way the two tone paint job on some versions made the car look short and 'chopped up". Too bad that Honda built such a nice car and then ruined to lines by making some of them two tone! This car is 27 years old and seems to be in near perfect condion with all maintenance services up to date, it is being sold as is with no warranty by a private party not a dealer. I would not hesitate to drive it any where!
