This is a fantastic 1971 429 CJ-R Mach 1 Mustang with a/c that has been rotisserie restored with every nut and bolt being replaced or restored to perfection. It has the C-6 automatic transmission, orig replacement Ford dual exhaust and other factory performance features. The car was prepared exactly as it came out of the factory with even the chalk marks and original stickers in place. The Engine was sent out to McBetts Racing Engines here in Long Island N.Y., who specializes in Ford products. It has approximately 200 miles on it. All numbers are matching on this car! It is just waiting to be judged on a national level and will probably get a very very high score! Paint and bodywork was done by the previous owner who spent 8 years on the car and he is a master craftsman. He then had it painted professionally in base coat clear coat and they did a great job, car is laser straight! We have all of documentation inlcuding the original invoice from Wantaugh Ford in Long Island New York, the original build sheet (although in poor condition the vin # is legible and some other key parts) and the Marti report. We have the door tag and it will come with the car from Marti. The car has its original 95k miles on it and the headliner is original and in nice shape but it does have a small tear in the rear about 1" by 1" (shown). The a/c is all restored and in like new condition but the tensioner pulley started to squeak so we just removed the belt. Assume that you will need that pully and I guarantee that the air blows ice cold. Minor issues include the right blinker dash indicator does not light up to show you that the blinker is on, but all lights work as they should, and the horn does not blow. We have a pile of receipts for thousands of dollars spent shown in the folder. We also are including an original NOS battery and original batt. hold downs, brochures and multiple manuals and other helpful books. Our images will do a much better job of describing the look, condition and value or this Mustang Mach I than our words ever could. It runs and drives as good as it looks.
