You are bidding on a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am 30th Anniversary edition Only 1600 of these collector edition Trans Am were made and each car is individually numbered. This is car # 978.. I have owned the car for 4 years and have put about 6,000 miles on the vehicle since I purchased the car in 2007. The car has been garage kept and only driven on the weekends since I purchased the car. These 30th year collector editions were equipped with the LS1. 5.7 liter 320hp v8 engine with the WS6 ram air option., white leather seats with 30th anniv.logo , T-tops, blue anniv wheels and blue decal strips were standard on the collector editions This car is equipped with a 6-speed transmission with the Hurst shifter option. Only 292 cars with 6 speed transmission were equipped with the hurst shifter. Currently 115,593 miles The engine runs great, smooth idle no hesitation upon acceleration. The manual transmission fluid was changed in 2009 and the transmission shifts smoothly. Only synthetic oil has been used by myself and the previous owner. I have all the maintenance records from the previous owner and myself. New plugs and plug wires were replaced in 2007. New A/C compressor installed August 2009. Air blows very cold. Michelin Z rated tires have about 50% tread life on them. July 2010 I replaced the engine wiring harness due to some electrical issues that could not be resolved otherwise. After the wiring harness was installed the shop did a full diagnostics and everything checked out great. No mechanical or electrical issues with the engine. New battery and alternator in 2011. Factory stock with no modifications other than the edition of a K&N air filter. The paint is in excellent condition with the exception of a 3 inch scratch on the rear bumper. The blue anniversary wheels are in good shape but do show some paint peel. The blue strips show some fading in a few spots. The T-tops are in excellent condition and have no leaks. The Monsoon stereo was replaced with another Pontiac monsoon system but the cd player is not working in the replaced unit.. The stereo works fine but one of the speakers is blown. The stereo sounds fine at low to medium volumes but crackles at high volumes. The electrical window motor on the passenger side needs replacing. The electric window on the drivers side works fine and was replaced by the previous owner. The leather drivers seat does show considerable wear but not more than would be expected for a car 12 years old. The passenger side seat and rear seats are in good condition. The car has never been wrecked and has a clean carfax report. Clear title in hand. Overall the car is in excellent shape and the only issues are cosmetic issues listed above. These Aniv. Edition Trans Ams are now 12 years old and do not come up for sale near as often as 4 years ago when I started looking for mine. You can still find 30th edition ta’s for sell with lower mileage but they will be listed for many $1000 more that my current starting bid price. Any questions please do not hesitate to email me.
